However blizzard does what it does best, overtune. Was UH strong? Yes, was it OP? No, it was used only once in AWC and was destroyed when it was, it was in a good spot with heavy cleave pressure and control, now it will be DOA with frost because blizzard doesn’t understand how to tune a spec without destroying it entirely. RIP.

Man, just once, I would love the class/spec I choose for an expansion to not get nerfed into the ground immediately. Ah well, the streak continues. Even made sure I was picking something that wasn’t OP in any content. Lo and behold, it gets nerfed anyway.

It is absolute garbage and also crooked and dishonest how they keep nerfing the DKs even though other classes are completely busted. Talk about class bias. Very plain to see some clear favoritism. Guess we got to take it to reddit or twitter.

And my second was choosing Unholy. This was probably the most balanced UH has ever been, and they still decided to kill it. Lol. Prior, it was always either crazy busted or underpowered to the point of complete uselessness. Judging by this patch, I think we know where Blizzard intends for it to be.
Crooked sure, but it’s not anything unusual. They’ve been terrified of a hero class having any actual power since Wrath ended. And hell, even in Wrath, paladins ruled the roost.

It’s pathetic really, while mages and rogues remain dominate/meta for years…YEARS, unholy becomes decent but yet still nowhere near the dominance of mage/rogue, so what does blizzard do? Nerf DK. The favoritism is pathetic honestly, don’t think I will continue pvping this expac.

UH definitely over tuned in arena.
I main DK, but play a lot of rsham in SS. It’s very noticeable how insane UH burst is during their abom go. Frequently seen people die through double earthen, tide, and free cast healing which just shouldn’t happen…
The nerfs targeting disease rot seems like a weird choice since I think their rot was pretty well balanced.

So your saying that when unholy presses every cooldown, (1.5min cd btw) that something can die? And thats bad exactly why? Should a class not be able to kill another class?
Can you link your sham’s armory, we would like to assess its gear and at what rating this is occuring, as if its anything like your UH dk then 1500 is not the bracket we should make game changing statments at.

Im actually SICK and TIRED of seeing unholy DK’s i wanna see frost more often. And WAY LESS CLEAVE. Single target focus bursts are more fun anyway. More skill cap too, unholy plays for you, no skill involved. My 3 yr old can play the spec

There is only 5 dk’s in the top 100 3v3’s, 5 in the top 2v2, and 11 in rated bg’s along with only 1 in AWC, the spec is not strong.
Where exactly are you seeing them?
We cant exactly play blood, and frost can’t stick to a target and they gutted it already and it has no ms effect. I agree however, take away the ability for deathcoil to cleave, and buff its dmg instead, problem solved.

It was OP everywhere. They’re way over represented in every bracket. Their burst was insane and they can still rot entire teams down with their dots.
I am so glad I’ll be able to play blitz without four unholy dk in every game.

Even if I do agree the DK nerf are unwarranted.
UDK are ahead of mages in every single pvp braket, beside 3vs3 where Mage have the 3rd spot and UDK are 4th.
Unholy isn’t even in the top five for burst output. Hell, I’d wager it isn’t even in the top ten. It’s not in the top five for survivability, either - or even close.
