I have my very own forum stalker. I think I remember why now Galdor. You lost your mind on previous topics, got all abusive, and were handed a forum holiday by mods. It’s good to see you’ve at least learned to curb the ad hominems.
You’ve posted 1080 times, I’ve responded to your snarky comments towards me a few times and replied to you a few more; probably less than 20 times. You’re the one making this personal, please don’t.
Now you’re just lying:
https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/solo-pulling-drek-and-van-was-possible-in-vanilla/396523
You’re the one continually replying with snarky comments to everything I post now. Sorry you got banned, but that’s what happens when you abuse people instead of playing the ball.
I wasn’t responding to you in that thread, you came in and responded to me. You’re making this personal for some reason, I have no idea why.
See, now what you’re doing is lying because you’re saying that I’m lying about you making snarky comments towards me, you then link a thread where you… made a snarky comment towards me as your proof?
I’ve learned my lesson and instead of responding to trolls by flaming them, I’m just reporting them.
Your comment above mine was deleted because you were timed out, hence my response to it.
A simple perusal of your recent post history shows the truth of this. If you don’t want things to be personal, don’t make them personal. Take your ban, man-up, and move on.
Yes, my comment that wasn’t directed towards you.
What did I lie about?
Could you two take this train wreck in progress to a private room?
Why Gythriel, are you offering? Is this part of the Valentine’s Day event?
Note what i previoulsy stated about pvp and pve realms. And the fix doesnt stop anyone from being gy camped - its a legit pvp tactic - what it did do is attempt to deter players from doing do for higher honor per hour.
Nothing about the change stops you from doing it or means doing so is actionable
Link to where he used the term grief. Your lack of comprehension has nothing to do with me. I’m not assigning anything. Time and again I’ve linked the blog post where they said
Additional improvements will include modern anti-cheat/botting detection
This falls under the category of a cheat. Killing someone in a BG is not cheating. Permanently forcing them out of it is. I don’t know why some players can’t understand the difference. It seems perfectly obvious to me.
No it doesn’t. Using your class abilities, “or profession,” on the enemy is not cheating. You can cry about not being able to interrupt a really obvious spell all you want.
It is sad to see so many players defending toxicity on WoW.
First of all, MC players out of the BG wasn’t allowed, so complaining about Blizzard enforcing something that you weren’t allowed to do in first place is stupid.
Vampire Clan, ClC, Grizzly, and other “top” henhouse PvP guilds are promoting a toxic and hostile environment to players that didn’t played on pservers. I was frustrated to see Ohgee Haptixx, a player that I praised for his High quality YouTube videos being against this change, because on his own words “griefing was part of the Vanilla, and it if fun”.
The #nochanges is stupid, people have a blind eye to changes that favor their meta, but will claim that a change X will open precedents to Blizzard turn Classic into retail, if that change goes against their meta (for example, the guys from henhouse practiced WSG a lot, and when the BGs were released, they were the ones to despise it, and support changes to AV meta, but they didn’t care about the clowmfiesta that WSG has become, and the issues medium and small sized servers suffers when they have to deal with X-realm BGs).
I hate the hate that some players have against people that are tryharders. Min-maxing, going for the optimal route, putting effort in a game isn’t wrong, however, some people feel like the fact someone got 60 on the first week is somehow affecting the gameplay of someone who wants to go slowly. But even worst, are some veterans, that dedicate their times to make a living hell of casuals; the MC portal grief as an example: If you were in a pug, and didn’t let the premade have an easy win, they they would MC you out of the BG as a punishment. And on their minds, they are the right on doing that.
And this kind of attitude is what is really killing Classic: Hardcore Players trying to compensate, or fulfill something on their lives that WoW can’t do, so they try to fulfill that by ruining other players experience, like an alcoholic father that beats his children to compensate for the fact that he knows his wife is cheating on him.
I mean… Imagine a player that hasn’t played WoW for a long time, he wants to play Vanilla again, he level his character to 60, enters on a BG, and on his first game he is stomped, and when he Rez, a douchebag MC him out of the BG. He opens a ticket and gets no response. When he complains, and finally Blizzard does something for him, the sweaty tryhard players complains that Blizzard isn’t allowing him to ruin the game experience for others, and tell the casuals to “go back to retail” (and let’s be honest here. Most of those pservers guys wouldn’t stand a chance on mythic+ raids, neither on rated pvp).
You guys can’t complain about blizzard doing changes, when you are the ones forcing changes by making WoW Classic an hostile environment to new players. Any retro-gaming community is welcoming to newer players, mainly the speedrun scenarios. However, on WOW, it seems that some players want to cut the competition.
I was 100% # nochanges. But if the consequences of #somechanges is drive away those toxic players, and give more space to new players to grow, and allow both HC and casuals to have fun, I’m totally into it.
I was a strong advocate for no changes ever since classic wow announcement blizzcon 2017. Not anymore. I’d rather get rid of as many toxic players as possible and let the rest of us enjoy classic.
Those people who defend griefing and bullying can leave and find a different game. And from what i can see, that’s what some of them are doing. They’re unsubbing because blizzard is taking away their fun - which is bullying and taking away other peoples fun.
What happened to WARTS and ALL???
Changes is how you took an amazing game with some flaws and turned it into this watered down piece of trash you call retail money shop.
Continue to make the same mistakes you have been for the past 14 years and you will see more people return to pservers.
There is nothing “toxic” about exploiting another players lack of spacial awareness.
Or are you the type of person that adds your “fairness” rules to games? We all know those kids that cry when they get wall bounced in Super Street Fighter II… the same kids that would never play a GOOD player again if that good player actually played and beat them in seconds without taking any damage… yea those kids…
There were changes that we all knew of before Classic even started, and yet, here you are.
So changes happened and you didnt leave. More changes are coming and you still wont leave.
any changes that address exploitation are good changes.
Group queing should be in a seperate bracket. Lets give them a debuff on honor if they are not in a different bracket. Something has to change. Maybe if pugs are not wanted then remove the single player que. Then premades would be forced. somehow I think though that the premades would not like this because they could not fight sheep.

This is obviously the guy who would see nothing wrong with having a super bowl, and then locking half the other team in the locker room
And then having a fit when the ref calls foul and gives a penalty.
You’re so wrong you have no idea. I’ll be here until the first non-Vanilla changes to PvE gameplay. Then I’m gone. I won’t even exit post. Like thousands and thousands of others, I’ll just quietly uninstall and leave, wish them good luck with the mobile crowd, and Blizzard will have forever lost another of their original fans.
