Warriors still in a hole

I’m going to have a look! I was real young in wotlk retail, and don’t recall but I don’t know how the old logging system even if there was one and if there was rules, just due to the fact that WCL’s now have set rules on some fights (what will count, what won’t count towards parse ect ect) so there may be some fights that people are padding on or whatever.

We see it a lot in Ulduar, for example on Alg, Auriaya (swarms), Ignis where you could potentially pad very hard but it doesn’t count - and warrior cleaving on those fights would certainly be much higher if cleave counted. But i would say the old recounts are somewhat accurate, good point and I’ll look into them

You know I didn’t even think of how WCL has specific rules that kind of skew how people look at some dps on some fights. Like how pummeler doesn’t count on XT but spark does. For cleave classes (especially ret) if pummeler did count they would obviously do more damage on the fight over all.

Yeah, I mean the rules are in place for a reason I suppose. If not you’d have a raid lead warlock some weeks “Okay I’m the only one seeding these adds no one touch” and inflate the hell out of the parse on that fight :stuck_out_tongue: But sucks to see some classes benefit from the rules more then others.

The exact same thing is happening again.

Fury warriors wonder what the hell is going on and are talked down by the classes who actually received a buff.

To whoever said Fury warriors out represent feral druids, let’s see those numbers for balance/feral and fury/arms. Then we’ll talk about representation.

They try to take the rng out of fights where they can.

Like on XT you don’t always get pummlers.

463,162 Balance parse, 134,739 Feral Parses totaling so around 597,900 parse for druid dps.

315,386 Fury parses, and sadly only 49,559 Arms parses. so only 364,945 total dps warriors.

So 600,000 dps specs going for druid, with 410,000 for warrior.

Now doesn’t your old post look misleading?

This whole issue could be helped immensely by people playing WoW instead of playing WCL.

I wish they had, now that two buffs have been fulfilled by the genie of Blizzard.

Sure, but the context of the post was feral vs fury. Not totals.

What are you getting at?

The context of my posts was that druid has two dps specs above the two warrior specs. And that this is after rebalancing.

Hence both specs and their representation is important.

I agree! Don’t know if your replying to the right guy or not.

I was simply replying to someone who said no one cares about Warrior cause no one plays it, when it fact we have more people playing warrior then feral, whom got buffed and I just slapped the parses of war vs feral to disprove that. I have 3 warriors myself, and I do care :stuck_out_tongue:

Apologies if it was mis-informative!

Oh fair enough then. I think both points highlight three things wrong with the state of warriors.

  1. People play it enough for it to not be ridiculous.
  2. Two druid dps specs are now above two warrior dps specs.
  3. This action of buffing feral flies in the face of the message that Blizz gave for the ret buff (underrepresented) and is now a balance for convenience.

PUMMELERS!

You having some flashbacks? I can relate.

So reroll, that’s what everyone tells pallies. I’m sure you can understand, it’s your choice to play warrior. Man that sounds familiar. Trying to put a finger on it…

Warriors are fine. Sorry you have to deal with not being A/S tier for a small amount of time in Classic’s lifespan.

One of the tops dps in my raid every week is a fury warrior

We’re a 54/54 guild and clear in 1 night. You guys just need to get good

I for one am happy, warrior is officially the worst dps in the game!

no more need to even guess!
