Keep the primary stat as Agility so DHs can continue to feel special.
But keeping Warriors, the MASTERS OF ALL WEAPONS, from being able to equip or mog Warglaives runs so contrary to lore it’s preposterous.

Can’t even use wands smh.
But cant benefit from bows, daggers, guns…
Warriors can learn their mogs though!
Well, when’s the last time you’ve actually seen a mage, priest or lock use any of their weapons?
warriors can loot, equip and get the achieve for equipping both warglaives.
as a warrior, you can keep those warglaives and use them during timewalking, they are great for TBC timewalking since there are demons there
I think the sun has fried my mind as I thought the warriors had warglaives.
Warriors can keep their greasy hands off every weapon in the game.
Ya’ll have the most legendaries out of any other class, and are arguably the main characters of Classic/Vanilla due to that.
There’s even a 2H axe legendary coming for you.
Let DHs keep what little they have, lol.
I mean, they’re our glaives. Warglaive. It’s right there in the name.
When we find a Demonhunterglaive we’ll let you know.
I agree, Warriors should be able to equip them (they are just bladed weapons after all), if only for tranmogs sake.
Who cares? I got one of these on my random rogue somehow but I don’t feel like I’m missing out because I can’t just use my warrior to collect every damn appearance in the game.
Boo f’n hoo.
Funny, I always saw the second one as a Tonfa, specially since it is listed as a fist weapon.
You’re 100% correct. Warriors should be able to equip and mog everything except wands.
They mean the weapon type, not the ‘Warglaives of Azzinoth’ from Black Temple raid.
So if a warrior looted uncommon (green) warglaives from a random mob in Zandalar, or the Dragon Isles – It’d be red, and dubbed as unequippable and they don’t know how to use it & can’t use it; same with any other class who is not a demon hunter.
Ngl. I would love to see the chaos a warrior could cause with a wand. Imagine fury. Two wands. Zap while charging, then gouge their eyes out with said wands, while laughing like a crazy person.
Bladestorm would just be a frenzy of magic missiles flying everywhere
Let’s be real, we’d use them to clean our ears and they’d go off. The wand restriction is for our own protection.
I mean there is a reason that warglaives are a DH only weapon.
There’s more reasons why it shouldn’t be ‘Demon Hunters only’ though …
I mean for instance: Warglaives are essentially like the Night Elves ancestral weapon.
And only those that are half demon, or saturated with the fel can use them – despite the grizzly history they’ve had with both demons, and the fel … lol
— Not to mention, thematically & lore wise: It ultimately begs the question that if only demon hunters can use them – Then why do Zandalari, Kul’Tirans, Blood Elves, and even Dragonkin and Primalists across the Dragon Isles have designs for them?
However the OP is right.
Warriors being ‘The Weapon Masters’ – They should be able to use warglaives, especially since it’s a physical combat weapon (unlike wands).
Doesn’t matter how many times y’all repeat this like a broken record, it’s simply untrue.
I can just see it now… with a mighty yell, a giant Orc Warrior charges at the boss, and proceeds to poke him in the eye repeatedly with a wand.
