I’m only level 22 but for future reference, is it possible to buy the liferoot and elementals bindings from AH?.

That be quicker than farming the bindings? I think you need 8 of each…3 different types
If the bindings are cheap enough and you’re planning to get the axe as early as possible, then it’s worth spending your gold as you’ll grind it back faster when you get closer to 40 and mobs drop more money/mats.
Ok thanks for that I might buy them now and the herbs so all I’ll need to do is farm the tusks.

You can buy everything except the troll drops. But those are only up to 34. If you’re eager about getting the axe right at 30, you’ll need someone to help you farm them. Most people just get a carry for the 40 elite rock at the end. In my 40s, I actually farmed/sold a few stacks of the burning crests for money. Fire is the best farm because they also drop elemental fire (bout 50s each right now).
Btw, as a human, pick the mace. Don’t be dumb and pick the axe like every other dumb human I see. The weapon skill is much better than a few points of hitting power. There was no point rolling human if you weren’t going to use your weapon skill.

Yes, you can purchase the elemental bindings and Liferoot. From personal experience with Liwani here, Liferoot was the cheapest by far, but one type of Elemental Binding was quite expensive compared to the other two.
Bloodscalp ears take a little time and depending on where you farm, might be a little tricky to seperate packs within the ruins themselves. There’s a set of ruins not that far from Nesingwary’s camp that has a good number of them, but those are not far from Grom’gol so you’re liable to get some intrusion. I did all of my Bloodscalp Ears there, took me about 1-2 hours just doing the rounds.
Helps if you try to do that section at 31 or 32 though if you’re doing it solely by your lonesome. I think the trolls there can get to around 33 or so for level on the top end, which combined with their numbers in the tighter spawn packs make it a bit harder to deal with if you’re a fresh 30 gunning for it.

You can definitely afford to buy the mats then, no worries. You’ve got more than enough. On my server I think it was <4g for all the bindings.
Grinding them out isn’t horrible, or at least it wasnt for me…but that was at the appropriate level. You couldn’t solo a quarter of their HP bar at 30 let alone all of the charms.
You will have to buy them or have help to kill them if you’re going for WW axe at 30.
Yes, I bought them from the AH on my warrior. The troll ears are difficult at level 33-34 but doable, especially if you have a group.

Get the axe from the sm quest that starts in Deso, ww axe is a waste of time

It depends on which spec you’re in. If you’re arms, the axe is better because it hits harder and you can spec for axes which adds a lot of extra crit. If you’re specced 2h fury then the sword is better IMO, because heroic strike comes around on every melee hit, and the sword has a faster attack speed so you’ll get more heroic strikes out. I got the axe and respecced arms and I’m loving it.
Don’t buy them it’s not a bad drop rate at all farm them yourself and save your money for mount
And also get the axe I don’t know who thinks sword is good crit is the king for warriors no questions asked a done deal your dps guaranteed will always be higher with axe
If you need help with the end of WW axe, travel north to Chillwind. Get FP for later and ask higher levels i nthe zone.
At times a guildie will ask for help when I am farming in WPL. I swing down, kill an elite and head back up.
Sooo axe sword or mace?
The axe is better because of axe spec in arms tree giving 5% crit.
Edit: for 2hand fury you also want a slow weapon, spec improved slam and use that as a rage dump instead of heroic strike. Only cast it after your weapon swing goes off though (can get an addon to track).
