Warrior or Warlock?

Ele at 80 and waiting for Dragonflight.

Debating between going Warlock or Warrior, primarily want to PvP with a little PvE mixed in.

i’m biased but warlock.

Warrior will have a greater need for PvE gear to perform at best, lock doesn’t require as much support (and probably gains more from straight pvp gear a la resilience).

I am totally biased too, but warlock really is a ton of fun in PVP and PVE.

Destro and affliction each have their unique playstyle too, giving you two very different feeling specs with one class

How bad does warrior perform with just straight PvP gear without any PvE stuff?

I can’t really tell you. Probably not terribly, but you are losing out a lot if you don’t heavily PvE as many of the best weapons (including smourne) will come from PvE). Many amazing dps trinkets too.

im leveling a lock now. Its level 20 but i feel so bad in dunegons. my damage is terrible compared to hunters pally warriors. When does that get better for locks?

seed of corruption at 70, but at 45 you can do okay AOE with felguard Felstorm. Destro Shadowfury does ok aoe too.

At early dungeons I did like Hellfire, Your healer must do his job tho.

what happened to being done with WRath?

Neither, go back to retail.

Both of these classes are endgame classes. You gotta think the long game. Cuz ur gonna get farmed endlessly by mages and hunters either way. Warrior is better endgame if u like melee zug zug tho. Even in tournaments warriors usually won. :man_shrugging:

Warlock for pure enjoyment.

Warrior for ease of use - Leveling in dungeons as a tank.

Both are fun, it really comes down to preference.
