I’ve raided pretty hard in other games (almost nightly for weeks to progress in ESO) and I wanna learn the high end of WoW. I’ve been playing for awhile, and I seem to have hit a wall. No one on my server wants to raid. I have been stuck on Moon Guard (not my choice. I started with an acquaintance who placed me there so we could play together. I don’t ‘roleplay’.) and I have hated every second of it. I wanna LEARN how to raid properly, get good at my class, get some gear. Do Mythic+ and actually do some REAL content instead of trying pugs all day and getting nowhere. I quit near the start of BfA due to this lack of a guild, but I haven’t given up and have decided to get recruited.

I’m looking for a serious/semi-serious guild that wants to really mold me into a raider. I will need some coaching, but I’m willing to learn and already understand the concept of not standing in fire thanks to other MMO’s.

I WILL server/faction change. I don’t effin’ care about what faction I’m at, but I will request we talk over Discord or in game to make sure this is the right fit. I’m not looking for retarded guild drama.

Edit: Just for clarification! I currently live in EST, however I’m willing to work with CST and the like. I am also slightly undergeared (in case that wasn’t totally clear) and am hoping to get some Mythic+ assistance possibly. (Pugging for that is awful, honestly.)

Furthermore, I would request that I can sit in on your discord for a raid or two, so I can get a feel for the environment your guild members present during a raid. If I can even join in on any normals, regardless if I get gear or not as I will probably be doing a few of these a week just for the experience of the guild atmosphere, that would be great. Evolved Gaming - Horde - Area 52

That’s awesome! We have some casual members and there’s normally someone doing something around. Our main focus is raiding, but we also do dungeons, pet battles, PvP, level alts, do old content. We like having people around, even if your schedule or play style mean you can’t join in raiding shenanigans. We have some “intro to raiding” nights on Wed/Sun for those who have never raided but want to try.

Hello! My guild Evolved might be a good fit for you! We are an 18+ community and most of our members have families, jobs, etc so we understand the importance of real life coming first. Because of this, we do not require 100% raid attendance. We run multiple raid groups, so plenty of room for you! Still Standing (A-Emerald Dream) was formed when 4 friends from difference servers came together on Emerald Dream to raid and have fun. Having trouble finding a guild that fit all of our needs with kids, work, and school, we decided to try our hand at creating a guild! We plan to primarily be a raiding guild, pushing as far as we can into mythic content once we have the roster but always getting AOTC. We don’t over care about CE, nor do we want to burn out our raider by only farming heroic. Community and friendship is what the guild was founded on and that is how it will stay. M+ teams and a RBG team are things we would like to look at in the future if people are interested in.

Recruitment Needs for Mythic: (Transfer Required) 1 holy paladin, 1 disc priest, 1 ranged dps. 1 dps with strong tank off spec, prefer ww/bm. Potentially 1 stud melee player. Raid Schedule
[Mythic] Thursday 8:30pm-10:30pm cst
[Mythic] Sat/Sun 3:30-7:30 pm central.
[Heroic] Tuesday is our heroic night for our mythic raiders/sales run 8:30 central to 11:00pm. This run is optional but highly recommended for gear sharing.
[Heroic] Wednesday- Open to our heroic team raiders, mythic raiders, and mythic raider alts. run 8:30 central to 11:00. This team full clears heroic easily as well.
[Normal] Friday open to anyone 8:30 central to 10:00.

We push people to get 1 heroic clear and 1 mythic 10 plus a week done. This is * required for our mythic raiders. As long as there is forging in the game people should be fishing for titanforges.

More about the guild: We do it all, we aren’t just raiders. We are extremely active guild, the most active on the server, and more active than most servers/guilds. Our people do not just log on for raids once or twice a week. Our average age range is 28-35. We enjoy PvP- arenas, rbgs, bgs, wpvp, Mythic+, achievements. We have a very laid back but like to get stuff done kind of atmosphere when it is not raid time. When it is raid time, we get focused and serious and competitive in a non toxic results oriented manner. Very active and supportive guild filled with awesome human beings. Our raiders are competitive players always striving to better themselves. Flasks and feasts and vantus runes are provided for all progression raiding. We are currently recruiting to finalize our core raiding team for Battle of Dazar’alor. We had a late start in BFA due to the guild being rerolled and didn’t start Heroic Uldir until late November 2018 but did manage to obtain AOTC. With that in mind, our goal moving forward is a solid AOTC each tier with casual Mythic progression as the group is able. I’ve included a quick guild summary below for your convenience. Estratovus is a Alliance guild on Sargeras (US) that was initially created in late 2009 for Cataclysm raiding to provide a more relaxed and fun raiding experience for our raiders. After a hiatus, the guild has been rerolled for Battle for Azeroth with the intent of clearing relevant content in a semi-hardcore, relaxed, and fun raid environment. Even though we raid in a more relaxed atmosphere we do login to succeed and we expect our raiders to be able to meet baseline performance requirements. Rest assured we login to down bosses and won’t allow raiders to be carried by the raid team.

Guild Highlights:
• Semi-Hardcore Raiding – We may not push competitively for top 100 or server firsts but we do aim to push relevant content with a focus on AOTC each tier.

Nexus on Turalyon [H] (7/9N, 2/9H BfA, AOTC Uldir) is looking for a few more good people.

We are a guild that’s biggest priority is having fun while killing monsters.
We believe that raid progression is important and want to push, but not at the cost of toxicity. We have a good raid group that works well together, but are looking for a few more like minded players to kill the pixels with. I’ve decided to close this discussion, or at least stop checking it daily. After much frustration, I found a few guilds that interested me, and I will confer with them after this. I was hoping to find someone to help me work on my core rotation, and while I have improved slightly, I am not getting the hands on attention I was hoping for. Just some small nods, some basic stat suggestions. That’s not a bad thing, but not the… real guidance I was hoping for. I suppose I will have to do my best and teach myself with the tools I have. Icy Veins and YouTube and stuff like that. It’ll be slow going but I’ll make it.

I also discovered that I had a bias toward guilds that were not as progressed as other guilds, which taught me a valuable lesson about social settings that I didn’t know I needed to learn. Perhaps next time, I’ll keep jokes about less progressed guilds to myself.
