The best spec in the game is getting a 3% buff to damage, really? I get it’s bad in PVE, but why buff something for PVE without taking PVP into consideration?

I checked the recent hotfixes and I don’t see anything about warrior being buffed?
Or you are mentioned one of the bug fix about mortal strike?
It’s between Warrior and WW, but Warrior is far better at lower rating because as long as they Intervene properly, sit in dstance, and press buttons that cause damage somehow, they can probably push 2.4k.

Everyone freaking out like it is already live, so I checked the hotfix yesterday
As far as melee goes, they are currently the best. Highest melee leaderboard representation
ww is not better than hpal, ret, fire mage or warrior
If all we’re talking about is DPS?
Yeah. It is. By a pretty large margin. It’s sustained pressure eclipses everything but Warrior, and it beats Warrior pretty handily. Ret brings off-heals, FMage has better burst, Warrior is tankier and brings intervene.
WW. WW brings damage.
They’re all on the same tier
For what it’s worth tho it’s much harder to play WW properly than a ret or a warrior
Strength of War/WW/Ret alternates between matchups honestly, they’re by far the 3 most powerful melee though
But again, them being harder to play properly makes it understandable why they get underrated even though they have incredibly high damage
Personally I’d prefer if more specs were overpowered in the way WWs are, because the difference between watching like Drake/Chun/Trill play vs anyone else is immense
And even though there’s massive differences between the top wars and mediocre alts, the mediocre alts can still be utilized in AWC because some of the newer mechanics like new intervene are just low risk/high reward. Or any mediocre ret alt is still fine in AWC too which is kinda sad imo

If WW is harder to play than ret and warrior than it is worse. If ret and war can make more mistakes and play at a lower level in general and still work than they are more powerful specs. Even people like Drake/Chun/Trill don’t play flawlessly all the time and mistakes on WW are punished hard.
I don’t even think WW is as good as arms in full gear. Arms dmg is much harder to heal through than WW if you include shapen blade and the fact that arms barely has to kite and ww loses full dmg when kiting, which it’s forced to do in a lot of scenarios.

Yeah lmao. If you’re watching AWC right now - arms has literally a 100% pick rate and currently 100% win rate.
But they’re getting a 3% buff because blizzard can’t watch their own streams lmao
The worst part is havoc is getting a 3% buff too which shows that blizzard thinks that arms and havoc are on the same level.
