Good luck seeing past tier 5 content.

I’m not sure why. In T5 they do about 1200-1300 DPS, locks do about 1500ish.

In T6 they they’re pushing 1800 to 2k. Locks do 2200. So they aren’t that far behind and are definitely 2nd tier contentable DPS.

Not sure why you’d “laugh”. Seems quite a bit hyperbolic and ignorant.

and this is why i have zero interest in tbc… classic was ruin to me at least with all the meta bullcrap. If I want to play tbc/wotlk or classic ever again. I will log into a pserver.

Good luck playing with this new breed of online heroes. At least I have all my favorite memories of when playing wow use to be great.

The “meta bullcrap” exists on private servers even more than it does on Blizzard servers.

I’m finding that most people’s opinions about TBC, and well most things, is just utter trash based on repeating what they heard someone else say.

Neither the private server admins nor Blizzard control the player base.

The meta forms because of players. The players on private servers took the game more seriously than people playing on Blizzard’s servers. Only people who actually cared a great deal about TBC would bother to play it on a private server.

No serious guild is running rets, at least on Pservers.

Essence of Desire isn’t impossible to kill if you just kick every Deaden rather than Spell Reflect. It is becomes way tighter of a DPS check over anything else in BT, but it is by no means impossible. Still, just slap a Warrior, any Warrior on it, and you’re good to go.

There are a few on endless. But why bring a rogue doing similar or less dps than a ret that brings utility?

For arguments sake, say ret does less dps by a fair amount. Having the 3% crit buffs all raid dps. Also CS refreshes judgements meaning you can have 100% uptime on wisdom allowing your hunters to pump super hard. It’s a large dps loss if hunters don’t have wisdom to regenerate mana.

And thats only after similar long questionable discord conversations just to get yourself invited to raids as a fury warrior.

There’s also the fact that people seem to only want to run with 1-2 Paladins max, meaning you’re missing out on blessings for the whole raid.

Salv/Kings/Might or Salv/Kings/Wisdom are going to be pretty sad to miss out on if you’re adamant about stacking Shaman and also never using a Ret.

I question the veracity of min/max from p-servers already, but on its face there seems to be glaring problems with foregoing utility that a Ret brings.
