Warrior burst needs a huge nerf

Charge couldnt be used in combat. You had intercept in combat only IIRC.

So now you have 2 combat gap closers, Avatar to remove roots, bladestorm to remove another which can no longer be disarmed either. Leap with a sprint on it on a shorter CD. Reflect, Stormbolt. You no longer need to kill someone to press impending, you can just press it and heal willy nilly.

As a mage. I have Blink every 13 seconds thats it and blastwave knock. We don’t play displacement for arena we dont have points for it.

Mage can play shimmer which is 2 charges on a 23 second CD vs warrior 17 second cd charge.

Additionally if we use alter time and return it will reset blink but thats a 50 second CD and a big defense to trade.

Don’t get me wrong I can kite warriors better then most but lets not pretend all you have is intercept and your waddling like this is vanilla/tbc waiting to rage dump. If warriors can glue to mages the way they do other classes have zero chance of escape except maybe a really good druid or monk

Then you bake in things like spear for even more anti mobility and big dmg. Were never gonna see any real PVP changes to address mobility it is what it is sort of thing but I think people are justified to complain and be miserable on it. If you can catch a teleporting nonstop mage what chance does a hunter or shaman have? Let alone SP/Lock/Boomy.

I get it though. It feels good to be unpeelable and crack skulls and dump on people. Maybe have bahjeers WA that says “GET S**T ON”. The specs on other end of DBZ mobility warrior are usually pretty tilted and ruffled though

Can we please stop with these types of arguments. It’s not 2005 anymore, the game changed, it evolved. Charge has been usable in combat for a longer amount of time than it wasn’t usable.

It’d be funny to have mobility decreased but damage increased with Arms current damage profile.

Except it used to be a rock paper scissor thing. Mages could kite warriors , warriors beat rogues , rogues beat mages. Now Melee have every tool to not be kited it defeats the purpose of playing a ranged spec. As far as balance goes its a pretty relatable argument .

Ya, I guess I’d be fine going back to when I only had one chance to kill a Mage, and that was with a Mortal Strike that one shot them.

So the question is, what do these people want other than to have Warriors be a free kill?

We’re not allowed to have damage enough to kill someone in one hit. We’re also not allowed to have enough mobility to hit more than once.

Seems like you all just want a free kill.

The difference being one is a defensive and the other 2 being offensive moves usually used to deliver unpeelable and crazy levels of damage to someone and often fatal in those windows. Not sure why we would compare the two?

The discussion was on mobility and burst. Having every tool in the arsenal to stay mobile and offensive. Warriors can’t be kited, there is no such thing as not having uptime on majority of classes anymore. If people complain they have rights too.

I’m not here to change your mind you play a warrior. Whether you choose to accept every non mage class wants to riot for nerfs because of your mobility/damage and general unpeelable nature is up to you.

CC part is more open to debate, you can consider things like spear a soft CC but a brutally punishing one. Stormbolt itself is fine but I don’t think people like dying in a stormbolt much

I don’t really care about their damage. I know the arms warriors are going to disagree, but they are way too defensive now. Fighting a DK and Arms is awful. Arms was at least a viable target. Now they are even MORE mongo. So dumb. Getting chased LOS by an arms warrior who can’t lift his finger off W and is tough to punish.

Let them have their damage… but let me be able to punish them when they go full gorilla.

Not sure where I implied that at all in my statement. I personally could care less about the balance of warriors I’m a fire mage. I enjoy playing with them in shuffles and 3s and the free wins handed to me for simply pressing polymorph while they solo someone.

Its the rest of the game rioting for nerfs you should be more concerned with

Ask for buffs for your bad class. Hunters are always a kill target no matter range or melee. You have one defense, and it’s done.
