Man, playing arms in pre patch was so much damn fun, arms warrior is the most fun out of any spec that ive played in wotlk. But unfortuantley its damn unviable in PVE and theres no question about it, when its doing damn near 30-40% behind combat rogue on dps theres no way in hell anyone is gonna invite you to a raid even if ur full bis, and i found this out the hard way lol. But thats fine, if arms isnt the best we can just play another warrior spec like fury !! Oh wait… fury also sufferes this EXACT same issue that feral just does the exact same buffs except way more utility and a HELL lot of more dps lol
Even if its just a 1k dps increase, unlike the recent 2k+ dps feral buff. i think enough people are asking for buffs that its a 80%+ of the community agrees that warrior is in a bad spot in wotlk. Ulduar is my favourite raid of all time due to nostalgia and the only reason i came back to play classic wow wotlk, I was told how good fury was in wotlk but idk i guess its not the case lol. Id seriously love to play arms warrior in pve but its damn near impossible unless you wanna hard grief and have everyone in your raid hate you lol. Doesnt feel good when your 3k dps behind everyone and a wipe happens because dps is low, ALL EYES ON YOU!
Also having such low dps just makes no one wanna give loot to warriors because either way, they are gonna do bottom damage :(( I have good hopes with the recent class buffs that warrior will be next cus its damn well deserving of it and i know blizz will do a good job keeping us happy like they usually do. I think ret could also use a slight additional buff but i know they have godlike utility thats on another level, cheers and hopefully we can have a good rest of expansion and class balance from here on out.
Thing is that only warriors a screaming they need a buff. They are still outside bottom 1/3 of dps but feel if they aren’t S tier they aren’t viable. They are completely viable in current state and sim to be 4th highest dps in icc but are crying they aren’t #1. All these issues were laid infront of everyone knowing we were using the 3.3.5 patch. I’m for them getting a buff to the level Rets got. Give them a major glyph that lets HS refresh sunder.
How do you think those same combat rogues you’re mentioning felt in TBC about being 30-40% behind a fury warrior’s dps despite having exceptional gear? It sucked and we rarely got a raid invite to any raid. We just had to sit back and eat it while about every other class/spec was invited to a raid every week… Now, sit in the corner and just reminisce about “The good old days” when you guys were top dps in both vanilla and TBC. Now it’s rogue’s time to shine so please sit down and be quiet so I can see the nice rogue standing behind you and I can ask him to be the 4th or 5th rogue in our raid tonight. Thanks, hfgl
How do you think those warriors who didn’t have a vanilla or tbc warrior but instead made it during prepatch for WoTLK feel given they’re being chastised for past warriors?
Quit being stupid with that argument, I see it literally on average once every two days from a new poster.
And even if it is a small minority. Who are you to say I should be punished for picking a class in WoTLK just because it was good before I made it?
I don’t want to be #1. I want consistency from Blizzard in that they have now buffed the two most hybridized and heavily represented classes but are ignoring warriors who clearly have unjustifiable dps with little to no utility.
If you don’t want to engage the argument, fine. But don’t come at me with your personal nonsense of how I should have known better. Apparently ferals and rets should have known better too, but Blizz gave them a pass.
That would make them immediately S-tier and automatic for shadowmourne.
It’s refreshing that they have to actually compete with rets who have never at any time had access to legendaries.
I have a feeling this is the real reason behind all the fury tears. They want shadowmourne for themselves and don’t want any other spec to have a shot at it.
A part of me hopes they fix blood dps so I can switch specs and have a shot at shadowmourne but I’m not nearly as selfish as these furies seem to be and won’t be crying if they don’t buff blood.
I definitely was. No classes should be that low on DPS meters (outside of Pure PVP specs like frost or sub or something).
Ferals were supposed to be an S tier DPS class… and instead were a C at best.
They deserved that buff and it was solid and a great change. However Warriors deserve the same. Its disgusting how bad warriors are in Ulduar… really no point in playing wotlk if thats your class.
