Greetings all! I recently started playing and I dont want to boost to level 110. I want to experience the many different aspects of the game and really get to know/master my character(s) as I grind my way to the top. My question about War Mode is at what level can I / should I jump in? Is everyone running around at max level or will I find pvp contect at the lower levels as I grind my character(s) up?!

Minimum level is 20 I believe. You can jump in right away. It will be just like on PvP server. Most people just go on their business, but there’s always a chance of being ganked.
Don’t have to worry till you get to 110… most ppl will leave you alone till then . Welcome to the game.
Level 20 is when you can turn on wm. There are some zones that are more active than others, so if you find yourself getting ganked to much just find another zone.
Well, if he goes to level near darkshire or in stv…he will get ganked.
Yep, skip these zones if you want to avoid getting camped by 120s.
He will learn fast to not hang around couple of those zones 
.
However in the vast majority of the leveling process , he should be left alone.
The 120 campers are loser 120s log into a geared main and camp them till they log

duskwood is a fantastic zone to level in.
Says the Druid that is in Darkshire so much they made him the mayor…
OP, avoid Hellfire as well.
Most people are at max level, in or out of war mode.
I recommend leveling in war mode if for no other reason than the experience bonus.

Now some questions about pvp in general. I am a long time Eve Online player. One of the reasons I fell in love with Eve (I still love and play Eve) is the grittiness;harshness of the pvp. One wrong move and you will lose your ship and everything in it! Full loot pvp at its finest… Im not saying that one game is better than the other or anything like that as I sincerely want to “get into” WoW. I recently started playing in preperation for the release of Classic, im really looking forward to it!

The risk in wpvp is you die…and you lose valuable time.
Your gear is secure. You can’t be looted. Guilds can not control territory. The rewards are pretty non-existant this expac as they primarily come at max level. Even at max level, calling it PVP gear is a stretch. Conquest points is what you’re looking for at max level.
