Warmode Etiquette?

I didn’t say ‘if you don’t want PvP, don’t turn on War Mode’ isn’t correct. I said he came over to WrA forums to troll.

Even though the topic is about etiquette, there has been other topics about the population imbalances in warmode with our server cluster leaning heavily Alliance. Which I believe that’s what Kirsy is referring to.

Honestly there’s been so many in the past few weeks it’s easy to mix up this topic with the others.

Literally, I was referring to the fact that a MG Alliance player just came to the WrA forums to call people “babies.” That’s a troll.

WRA comes over to MG forums all the time.
His post didnt seem very trolly either, least not in this thread.
/shrug
But yes. People need to stop crying about being killed if they choose to WM.

Not a troll at all. He was very relevant in his post and didn’t say anything inflammatory. Just because you don’t like what was said, doesn’t make him a troll.

So just to be clear, if I call you a baby for not liking my comment, that’s not inflammatory? And if you don’t like being called a baby, then I’m not trolling?

I dont think he was calling YOU a baby, unless you were the one the OP is talking about.
And if that is the case, then turn off WM.

I didn’t say he was calling anyone specific a baby. I said he was using that specific language to be a troll. And I don’t run around in WM anymore - haven’t since the beginning of SL.

Then I think you may be looking too hard to find trolls.
The OP asked a question about an experience that they had.
The ‘troll’ was answering it by saying the person he was dealing with was ‘a baby’ and further went into detail about how they felt on the matter in reply to the question.

It was a valid answer to a valid question. There is no reason to be looking for the boogie man when there is none. I very much agree that if someone logs onto an alt to complain about me killing them, in a mode of the game where the point is to kill others, that they are, in fact, acting like a child. Or a baby, if you will.

You’re trying too hard to be offended. Please stop being the victim everywhere you go.

Or maybe not hard enough.

Who are you again? Do we know each other? Because I’m interested in this ‘victim’ theory of yours that apparently exists ‘everywhere’ I go. How would you know about what I do everywhere? Are you my secret stalker? I really hope you are. Please send gold.

If that’s the case, then I wish you the best of luck in your hunt. I hope you find some actual trolls soon! Or… Not? I’m actually unsure what the goal is in finding them. So what ever is the best outcome for you in this task, then I wish that for you!

I was out in Warmode on an alt and ran into someone of the opposing faction. Neither of us attacked one another, but you could tell there was romantic tension. It hang heavy in the air, thick enough to summon Phil Collins.

I won’t name names, but to the Draenei hunter on Draenor… I think we were meant to be.

Bump all the noise. Were they red? Were they in WM? Then freakin’ kill 'em and move on. Apologize for nothing.

Generally, unless I’m in a particularly murderous mood, I don’t attack unless I’m attacked first. Or a Galactic Guardian Twin Moonfire randomly procs on a person that happens to be near me while I’m fighting an NPC…

I do have one major exception though: When I find someone win-trading in an FFA PvP zone, especially if they’re an assassin. Then all bets are off and I’m calling in reinforcements.

By Tidemother, if I find out that Moonguard is posting cringe again, I will personally send them to Shadowlands.

Only a couple of them. They didn’t think we’d notice.
