They’re awful because all you have to do is interrupt them and it is game over for all 3 specs. Sure, they all do a ton of damage if they get to freecast but you can just not let them. Then you realize any other caster can do just as crazy dps when allowed to freecast and probably more (looking at you mages/ele shamans).
You can also slow and freeze warlock pets too. They can’t use any of their traditional attacks and their dps becomes literally 0 btw.

no they are godly awful , it’s hell playing one in rated 3v3 , 2v2
i been to some matches which resto shaman do more dmg then them
it’s beyond me how blizz still keeping it this way for months
when they finally do that 2,5 ~ 4 sec cast through all those chain-cc , interrupt , spell locks it does pathetic dmg which most melee classes can x10 instantly !!
