I just recently made a new Warlock and the default Imp name i was given is Niple. Is this somthing I can self report to get changed since it is so close to the double p version? I’d rather not take a chance on getting reported for a name I have no control over. I have opened a ticket #98526881 but wanting clarification so I know to cancel the ticket if it’s somthing that can’t be reported. Thanks!
You can do it yourself in retail. If it’s in classic then yeah, I’d keep the ticket open.

Couldn’t you just go to the demon trainer and pay the 50g and get a new name generated yourself?

Not everyone is aware that this is a thing, honestly. And that is again depending on which game iteration OP is playing on.
Better that they come here to inquire than potentially be reported for such a thing. Sometimes the system naming can shoot out a name that isn’t exactly appropriate. There is no harm or foul to inquiring how best to deal with the situation if someone truly doesn’t know.
