Are there any skills now that replaces life tap and what way will we warlocks gain mana back?
hahaha mana management
No
No
Wait... they removed it???
My alt warlock's life is ruined... we're going to need to get mana potions somehow... waste profession slots to get herbalism and alchemy, or buy them on the overpriced auction house.

I have the talent that brings mana back with the Chaos Bolt and RoF. Does that not work any more? All we get to do now is sit and drink? Did they add "Drain Mana" back?
GOOD TIMES! GOOD TIMES!

I did not see Drain Mana...
Mana basically only exists for utility abilities. The mana cost on your DPS abilities is so trivial that you regen mana faster than you can spend.
All your abilities were reduced in mana cost to compensate. But other than that, Life Tap is gone in the BfA prune.
From my experience our aff spells use significantly less mana and mana regain is a bit higher as well. The real mana killer is the drain health ability.

Let's just say we may as well not have a mana bar for our non-CC abilities.
Argh
Have you actually tried playing yet?? Or did you just jump straight into Panic-and-Whine Mode??? Mana is not an issue. Get in there and play. The sky isn't falling.

This, there is no need for lifetap if mana is never a problem
Life Tap was annoying anyway.
Nope, The ability is all gone and no replacement. Our play style has been changed to compensate for that change. less time mana tapping and more time DPSing :)
Outside of extraordinary circumstances you will never run out of mana.
I don't know yet. I was out running around Broken Isle doing some world quests to test the new pre-patch abilities. When i started throwing out unstable afflictions on multiple targets, as my soul shards were refreshing at a good rate, I managed to get my mana bar down half way pretty quick, which is when I realized Life Tap was gone. I will have to see on some raid targets.
If enough people complain they'll add it back, keeping working

You had to have been using drain life or fear because UA doesn't even cost mana at all.
As Destro, we definitely used mana.
I never used Lifetap in Legion, since my CB and RoF did it for me.
But if I was just out farming world trash, incinerating everything, cuz it's trash and I'm OP, my mana would definitely drain. I had to make it a point to CB something every now and then just to get mana back.
It does not bother me if they removed Mana management as a mechanic save for healers.
