Warlock Customization: More Grimoires! And other stuff

Nice whataboutism. I could care less about loan wolf. You are pointing to something we didn’t ask for and trying to use it to justify your demand.

Come up with something unique and interesting.

Ok this is just a lie. Gliders are used massively especially before pathfinder comes out.

hmmm? so because i rarely see them, im lying…ok then

You and a handful may not care, but others might. We never asked for Grim:Sac either. It was thrown in as an alternative to avoid having our pets like Imps that lost its phasing to stop idioticly aggro with AI pathing as a cheap settlement.

So, any social approach of suggestions and ideas are demand now? Neat. I guess you and a few others are just gaslighting and reaching for fallacy. See how that works.

Interesting. Come up with something unique and interesting, which this thread has been doing, multiple times, and your lot instead of assisting, lashes out with belittling and aggression cause of your immersion.

Cool so go ask for it to be removed from hunters, that doesn’t somehow justify you copy/pasting a core aspect of our class to yours.

I actually did assist and gave ideas about being able to change colors and features, but you guys raged and thought you could kick me out of the discussion. It’s clear you aren’t interested in genuine conversation.

I will say I find it funny about hunters complaining about giving warlocks stables would steal hunter’s identity. When hunter’s have already been able to tame demons like the fel stead, many demonic spiders, I am pretty sure at one point you can also get Void Hounds. So hunter has been stealing Warlock’s identity for years. On top of this Expansion you can now tame undead which is meant to be Death Knight’s identity. so hunters are now stealing the identity of 2 classes.

again as someone who plays multiple hunters im personally fine with more classes getting some variety, esp since it wont actually encroach into the hunters identity of being a beast master, i feel pet options should be given to both DK and WL

Hm. Let us keep this simple.

How does including in our limited supply of summon choices requesting a Jailer (legion mob) or inquisitor (legion mob) both equal in demonic rankings and often lower than Fel Guards take away from you?

Hell, thematically, we dont even need to tame or enslave or have a stable. We can lore wise, tear through the veil into the twisting nether and pull from there what ever our heart is willing to try to control. How does this take away a core key element from your class in any way shape or form to add in two demons?

Slapping a different name or lore on it doesn’t make it functionally different.

Come up with a different mechanic that is interesting. That’s why I spoke about being able to customize the looks, like give them their own character creation screen. That at least is cool and different. No taming or capturing. Maybe you kill a certain number to collect parts and make your own. At least that is a completely different concept.

Personally, I like that locks are different from hunters. Since demons are actual individuals I think they should get customization that’s more similar to a playable race. Let people change their demons features and skins colors. Let them add armors and outfits.

I think this would be a way better alternative than trying to just emulate hunter pets.

Why are you trying to play dodge ball when nothing of the sort is being done?
I gave you simple unique class fitting and lore theme forms as examples and asked how will they take from you, and you.dodge with a flimsy retort… why? Is your suggestion of rainbow colored voidwalkers that important to you?

rather then just taming, they could allow warlocks to make contracts with various demons, which could open up unique dialouges and quests and such

Sorry what is the title of the thread? #warlockstables. You want a hunter thing. You can’t have it. Stick to something novel.

My idea is 100x cooler anyway.

Why not dk took a warlock thing i say hunter stables are fair game at lest hunter will still have stables after.

“One bad thing means we should do all the bad things”.

Nah. Classes should have uniqueness. Homogenization sucks. Just because it happens somewhat doesn’t mean we should advocate more. When actual novel ideas exist.

I’d much rather build my demons on my warlock with a creation screen and choose their looks than just get the already done hunter stables.

then if warlocks can’t have a stables demons they bind. which I will point out has been there identity since warcraft 1 aka before the beast master was even a thing n idea for hunters. Then hunters should lose every demon, and undead pet they can get.

Warlocks don’t “tame”, they bind or enslave.

And there’s nothing wrong with two classes sharing a common theme. Warlocks wouldn’t have stables, per se, they would have something like… I picture it like the Ghostbusters’ containment unit.

an entire warlock spec was destroyed and put into limbo for a while because of another class, we’re not asking for that, we’re asking for the option to choose which demons we can summon, not to take it away from hunters

Lool keep talking about things unrelated to this like it justifies what you are asking for. It doesn’t.

That went out the window a long time ago and this is blizzard we are talking about they are not going to be " creative" when they have a “stable solution” already.
