Warlock Class Order Hall Unavailable

I recently attempted to get back to the warlock class order hall from Legion to purchase one of the grimoires off the vendor. The portal in Dalaran in the sewers is no longer there. It’s been a minute since I’ve done these quests, but I already have all the weapon appearances so they were definitely completed. The beginnings to the artifact weapon quests are not available either to confirm this.

The portal just doesn’t exist in the sewer. Can this be a symptom of a race change and is there any way to resolve? I’ve reloaded the game, reloaded UI, left and re-entered Dalaran, confirmed I’m in the correct version of Dalaran - none of these have worked. I’ve seen others report this in the past but no solution was ever provided.

Is your character max level?
The new war within sorta pre-patch quest is given to you with the recent Dark Heart patch. It takes you to Dalarn to meet up with Khadgar.

That quest has been known to phase Dalaran and cause issues with class hall stuffs. Try completing it if you have it so you can get back to unphased Dalaran.

The name of this quest is “The Harbinger.” As my (boosted) Void Elf, it was available from Khadgar in Stormwind Keep.

  • I proceeded through the quests in Telogrus Rift. At the end of this chain I…
  • Turned in Radiant Warnings with Khadgar in Dalaran and earned the “Hunt the Harbinger” personal achievement
  • Left Chamber of the Guardian and back into Dalaran
  • Warlock class hall portal still not there, nor was the NPC in the sewers to turn in the “Awww Scrap!” engineering quest, which is tied to this phasing
  • Returned to Chamber of the Guardian–no quests for me, but Khadgar and Lady Jaina Proudmore were in the portrait room
  • Visited Dalaran on my (not boosted) undead warlock who had completed everything linearly, and the portal to the warlock class hall was still there but only Khadgar was in the portrait room

Hopefully, they get this sorted before the Legion Remix next year.
