Warlock’s in TBC

Not if people start at lvl 56. Which is very likely since it’s TBC.

If you go tailoring you can sell the cloth everyone will want for prebis.

Why would people start at 56? We will all be 60 already.

Well I already know motes are huge money, and I already know what proffs I will run… the biggest question on my mind is: do I run a good mote farming alt or a boosting alt?
If it wasn’t for what I’ve seen in classic, I would have run something good at world mob farming (hunter, lock, mage) or a gatherer (Druid)… but after all the money I’ve seen made boosting in classic… makes me think boosting people from 20-65 on a pally might make equal or more money than motes (no farming competition)

Well consider that most of us are on mega servers and outland is smaller than Azeroth. There’s going to be more competition for less resources.

Good point, driving prices higher and giving even more support to the argument of a boosting character haha

There is going to be a lot of world PvP in Outland lol

Um…

Wat?

Also, in regards to farming:
There are dailies. Ogri’la, Netherwind, and skyguard all provide big gold as do the Ethereal Prisons in northern BEM.

There is going to be major issues farming mats if botting is even a third as rampant as it is in classic. It will even be bad on Azeroth because min/max meta will have mages and fire destro locks chain chugging flamecaps.

Yeah that’s why i left pvp servers. I like wpvp but when it’s time to farm consumes I don’t wanna be bothered. I wanna get the farm done and having to deal with horde got on my nerves.

Undoubtedly this makes your opinions on the topic even more useful as you’ll be highly knowledgeable on the subject and respectfully non-biased.

So… boosting alt?
Flame caps a herb?

I agree it’s frustrating… so is being camped… but I couldn’t play wow without PvP especially world PvP. My level 54 rogue was being camped by a 60 rogue the other day and I ended up killing the level 60 lol… no better feeling on wow

I was getting camped by 10 at a time. My rogue can solo frostmaul giants for ekos. A horde group rolls up doing the same. They kill me and by time i run all the way back from everlook they are waiting by my body instead of farming. 10v1 is not fun.

Yea, unfortunately it doesn’t matter what class you play… you aren’t winning a 10 v 1… however I’ve never had that happen in 15 years on PvP servers so I think it was just unlucky

This continues to point toward a pally alt though lol

lol bubble hearth is BiS.

Locks are great in PVE, especially in the final patches. The biggest “nerf” people would notice would be arena, since in early TBC resil didn’t work on DoTs, which made them really really strong in arena’s. So if you are expecting that specific aspect of warlocking during TBC, you would be a bit disapointed.

all this is hypothetical since blizz has not announced TBC and I don’t see them announcing it for some time. POSSIBLY blizzcon in feb will be the announcement and only if they think it’s the right time. Honestly I think they are gonna let Naxx play out this time and not make the same mistake announcing TBC too soon.

However say it does come… play what you want not what the flavor of the month or flavor of the expansion is… I’m playin rogue regardless even thou people say their only purpose is arena. I’m playin this class no matter what.

Hey man, just get warglaives and DST. ez peezy

since the warglaives are just drops it probably will be

Warglaives are going to be warrior prio.

Since they do more dps with them than a rogue.

you don’t know my guild and how we do loot

Or wait until sunwell. Go SM/Ruin and basically spam shadowbolt and win.

The good ole days. I miss my BC warlock.
