I think they should have allowed them, and just offered Demon Hunters a more high res version for the achievement.
Honestly, I dislike the warglaive mog for the most part. They are stupid looking weapons to begin with, it would be better if they just didnât have a normal sheath model and instead we just stuck them into the ground. Having them on our back just looks dumbâŚ
No, itâs not.
Iâve already pointed out that thereâs Hunter and Warrior NPCâs in WoWâs history, as well as Trolls who have and still do use Warglaives.
You randomly yelling about how itâs awkward when theyâve existed for decades in both WC3 and WoW prior to Demon Hunters is your business, but itâs just something youâre pulling out of your backside.
Iâm literally following your logic.
Youâre fine with someone who looted a Warglaive in Pandaria having it (and not âlosing itâ).
Thereâs no meaningful distinction between someone who oneshot Illidan then as a level 90, or Warlords as a level 100, and someone who oneshot Illidan a year later in Legion as a level 110. Leaving no actual justification why itâs OK to deny the latter from it.
So thereâs no actual âpoint of viewâ you have on this matter, youâre just fine with telling some people they canât get it because you have it.
Bear in mind also, that in threads like this, people are discussing the Sword models that are lootable from Illidan. If Warriors and Rogues get to xmog the Sword model, it doesnât change Demon Hunters having a unique separate model which is the xmog you currently have.
Thatâs nice. None of those are Illidanâs fel demon glaives.
I never once yelled. But seeing as how youâre now to the gaslighting portion of the arguing, Iâll let you continue on your own. Enjoy your day.
Not going to continue this pointless debate with you⌠I guess you missed the point of my last response to you.
Because transmog doesnât already allow people to look like clowns right?
Btw @Darièlle, donât waste your time arguing with Caelin. He often comes into these threads and likes to strawman just for giggles. He did this in a thread I made about this topic:
They look awesome on every sword wielding class. so much so i had to go equip them.
Theyâre actually Azzinothâs. Illidan just happened to be the person who looted them, just like we can just as easily loot them from Illidan.
Iâm not sure you know what gaslighting means, but if you keep going on about how itâs awkward without any actual reasoning why, youâre basically just yelling into a void that youâre right because you say so.
Funny coming from someone who +1âed one of my responses. Just because I disagree with you doesnât mean I am âgas lightingâ. It just means I have my own opinion on a subject. If that bothers you, just ignore me and you will never be bothered by it again
I am totally fine with rogues and warriors getting to Mog them who cares anyways its just a mog and anyways you have to go through the same grind to get em so more power to our fellow Rogues and warriors.
Also bring back Brutosaur while youâll are at it ty
Or better yet, if you have a request, go make your own thread about it and stop derailing other ones.
Of course you wonât.
Itâs not like your âpointâ is subtle, itâs just so obviously nonsensical from even a surface glance, and Iâm happy to notice that.
Also Iâd like to point out that like many things, our possession of these are not canonical right? Donât we hand these back to Illidan himself at some point?
My rogues (several of them) farmed the glaives, my druid did the timewalking raid, and my DH who doesnât actually play looks pretty in her transmog. Demon hunters were not even required to participate in any way.
In fact, due to the rarity of the drop and the short time between the announcement that this was going to happen and when the BT timewalking raid became a thing, next to no demon hunters would have had the set if they had to farm their own. The entire unlock was based on the fact that you probably had a rogue that farmed them some to many years back.
My rogues killed Illidan to steal them from him. Heâs not getting them back.
The point was, he already has them back, literally no class has a claim to these things because WE do not physically possess them canonically. Not even DHs, so these should honestly be open season for mogging/using.
By that logic, no class should be able to mog artifact weapons then. And yes, they should be open season. Agreed.
