Frei:
I disagree, my “no” comes from they themselves said “subs number is no longer the sole measure of success” and “it didn’t account for services and store transaction”, i didn’t say no just because i said so.
Please point your “no” evidence that they do have a free time and that the devs are working lazily.
So… correlation = causation. This is like how people think WoD sub loss wouldn’t have happen if it had flying from the beginning.
And no, I don’t have proof for my opinion. That was my entire point, neither of us do, which is why it’s a dumb argument.
Or I could take a page from your book and say the lazy design as of late proves me right. But I can recognize that isn’t proof.

Then your point is wrong, you don’t have a proof (not even correlation), while i do.
You don’t have proof, though. Your failing is not knowing what proof actually is.
“it sounds good in my head” is not proof and doesn’t hold up well outside of your head.
That said, if you’d like to cite Blizzard stating that they don’t have time to make a new weapon model (which they’re doing in Shadowlands ), I’m all ears.
I earn my legendaries thank you very much. They don’t fall on my lap you know.

If you expect them openly broadcast “Guys we also rely on microtransaction on top of our subscription” then no, no sane company would say that.
They do announce subs is no longer the only metric and sales + service is also part of their income.
Oh, so they only told you this in private?
No they said it in their Q meeting.
Can you verify this?
Humor aside. You still never provided proof.
Limelight:
Can you verify this?
Yes, one is in WOD (saying subs is no longer the accurate metric of success) q meeting, the other is the latest q meeting where kotick said sales and service for bfa made them keep up with classic.
That’s not what I was getting at, but yes they did say that (or something similar).
I’m asking your for proof that they can’t make an HD model due to time constraints.
Edit: I did warn you that this was a pointless angle.
Are you implying that they can and have the time for it?
I’m implying that it may be possible and that the answer to such a question is beyond either of us.
I disagree, whenever they’re asked with “Why don’t you revamp Silvermoon/Exodar” or reintroduce HD model of old set, they always answered with “waste of resource”.
I’m no dev, but I’m pretty sure that remaking a city is far more time consuming than remaking a weapon.
Also, waste of resources doesn’t mean a time constraint. It certainly can, but it can also mean it wouldn’t be appreciated enough to warrant it.
Wow…just because I can’t tell the difference in my DH and my Monk from a gameplay perspective, you didn’t have to go throwing that around.
I think I am going to go login to my DH, fly back to Panderia and delete some panda mobs, just for that
Frei:
Are you implying
Did you just imply that someone else implied?
I can’t keep up…

Did you just imply that Frei implied about someone else implying?
Limelight:
Did you just imply
Maybe? I am not so sure that the implication of implying that someone else implied a different implication is totally clear to me…
The point was they don’t have resources to “waste” on remaking old content or old model.
Also moving and remaking a city is mostly level designer’s job. While remaking weapon model is 100% art team’s.
Seems like a stretch to me, so I disagree.
