Warfront armor - How does it work?

Can someone please explain to me how Warfront armor works?

I got a piece called " Honorbound Centurion’s Greathelm" but it doesn’t look like what I thought it would.
Apparently there are 3 models for the EXACT same named piece of gear, and I’m not talking about Aspirant and Gladiator, I mean the Warfront set.

I’m very confused.

Oh it’s already been explained. Google it or search here on the forums. It seems you already understand anyway.

Just came to say I absolutely hate the way these sets are obtained. There are at least 4 unique sets for each armor type for the Darkshore Warfront alone, and the only way to get them is to ‘just do Warfronts or PvP’ and hope you get the pieces you need at random; painstakingly convoluted

Thanks @Stevas

Okay,

SO based on the guides, the pieces I got were Tier 1 because they were from the reward for doing the warfront, and not Tier 2 because you get those from killing rares in open world.

That explains the difference in the model, however, it is also the wrong color based on what set looks like in the Appearances tab.

What’s up with that?

I just completed my 7th legion “elite” plate set. I just completed it this rotation. Was a little frustrating

Just bring back vendors tbh

Agreed. I still need 2 TMOG pieces from the Arathi WF, that I’ve run each time it’s up. In fact, I have 2 plates classes (1 on each faction) and still can’t get the shoulders or chest. Feels bad man.

Missing 1 piece of each leather set. Oh and the Arathi basic set I actually like I’ll never get one piece it seems lol

I now have 5 different plate users across both factions. I cannot get the helm to drop.
