Warcraft won't launch

As of a few days ago, warcraft stopped launching. If I try to launch the WoW program directly, I get “Invalid access to memory location”.
The launcher says “launching” for about 5 seconds before rolling back to play.
Yes, I’ve tried everything on the Tier 1 tech support list.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I have the same issue, there is no resolution.

I am having the same issue. I click “Play,” it turns to “Launching,” then a few seconds later reverts back to “Play” with no application launched. If I do it enough, it will tell me I need to update, so I do, then try again and it’s the same thing. I’ve “updated” my game about 5 times now. I’ve made sure my addons are up to date, as well as my video drivers. I’m still having issues. I removed my authenticator yesterday, too, since I heard that was causing people issues and nothing has changed. Refund me some sub time Blizz, this is kind of wild…

I should add that my CPU is a Ryzen. I know a lot of people with Intel are having issues. I don’t think it makes much difference, but figured I’d throw it out there.

this has been happening to me recently, and while there is no consistent fix to which i have found yet, i’ve resulted to just leaving wow open all of the time whenever i can get it open. i understand this is not possible for many people but it’s all i’ve got to get around this problem. i’ve found that if you close wow briefly and immediately open it back up, the problem won’t occur (i was able to close wow just to update it today and it opened without any issue), it seems to only happen when you close wow and don’t open it again after a certain amount of time (like, for example, overnight)
