Khadgar, Alleria, and Turalyon were part of an expedition into Outland to fight the Burning Legion. “Dispatch” is literally just sending someone off to do something. He’s sending her to find the Harbinger.

One paragraph?
Khadgar led the expedition to Draenor (Outland) in which Alleria and Turalyon were a part. They closed the Dark Portal from the other side and Khadgar aged a bunch, got separated from Alleria and Turalyon, and badabing badaboom, TBC happens. We find Khadgar but no Alleria and Turalyon, at least until Argus. They have a reunion, old friends reunite. And here we are.
Extremely oversimplified, but there ya go.

If it helps, there was no plot at all.
Just some insight in to alleria, turalyon, and arators characters.
So youre safe to skip it if you want.

It was pretty good, I liked it, I always wondered what the stance of half elves in Silvermoon was but it seems they are fine in there, although it might be because Arator is a Windrunner.
Also, bag of holdings finally canon in WoW.
