Could not disagree with this more.
You would have turned Chromie being female into an agenda and commentary on “the patriarchy” rather than a personal choice, which would have made this suck.

if people had the ability to change apearence or even gender when ever magically they would, in wow that is an absolutely doable thing. btw pelagos was born female but took the form of male and is now the arbitor did i need to know pelagos was originally female no do i care no i dont think twice about it .
dragons use visage form to live among mortals who are scared of giant fire breathing lizards lol
Ya so not sure why you replied to me
to make conversation
so when are we gonna get to play our dragons blizz?
Hello, I see you posted a thread about a gnome. This story wasn’t very good and felt kind of preachy. Unfortunately this story also doesn’t make a lot of sense based on what is coming in the next expansion! This story throws a wrench into the fact that Dracthyr only have two visage race selections!
Thanks for your post and have a great day!
I think this is what we all want.
FYI, I did like Pelagos but wasn’t a fan of him becoming Arbitor. Would of been better if the jailer was restored or the female construct with a huge plot twist at the end.
I did enjoy the Thiernax and Qadarin. Their introduction had substance because of the Night Warrior plot.
It’s the execution of the stories or how it’s told is garbage is what bothers me.
Like burger King helmet felt like how Rian Johnson spit on Luke Skywalker when Luke tossed his Lightsaber.
Anyways, I want better.
sylvanas becomming arbitor as her would have been better.
Hrm… fair point… though not sure Dracthyr and Dragons play by the same rules. Dracthyr may be able to choose their secondary features, but may not be able to change their race.
From what was said on the beta, the form is to appear as something to not scare mortals. So for Alliance, it’s an Elf and a Human.
For Horde, it’s…an Elf and a Human. And this comes from freaking Ebonhorn, who’s a Tauren.
I’ve been angry about the Visage form stuff since it was revealed, and this story only further emphasizes it.
Hrm… well then. So much for that idea.
human aka alliance race elf horde race it was on purpose they wanted equal representation for dracthyr.
Hello, I see you replied to the thread. Well, mission NOT accomplished! Those freaky things are terrifying!
Thanks for your post and have a great day!
They don’t want equal representation, they want standard pretty races.
Yet, can never give examples where it’s ‘good enough’ for you, pretty interesting. Not to mention you intentionally misgender them as a personal point.
That’s because your brain is stuck in the 80’s and 90’s or before, alas.
they chose the most played races on both faction which just so happen are pretty races.
They’re the most popular because they’re the pretty races. It’s ridiculous and still makes no logically lore sense. The only reason is for ease of customization and because they’ve already baked Human and Elf into their dragons more than any other race (which is in itself a problem, but it’s obviously because they can make an Elf chick hotter than a Troll or Tauren chick).
It’s a spineless and lazy decision, especially in the presence of this story.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could choose our visage form too, instead of being stuck with a glitter-crusted female human and blood elf male? I think it would be nice.
Interesting how visage day has such expressed importance whereas for the new Evoker race/class you’re bottlenecked into human visage forms. Blizzard don’t even remember their own written lore.
