Warcraft Radio Interviews Ion Hazzikostas

I cannot stand that man at all! This man single handedly ruined a game I really loved! I am going to have a HUGE Party the day he leaves!

You don’t need a crystal ball everyone knows how its going to be another vamped WoD and BFA, recycled content more rng rng rng and world quests again for another 2 years. Not looking good sorry.

given Blizzards love for RNG im amazed they don’t make us require a loot roll just to use the game launcher

/random hero rolls 1-100 gets 23 you have been disconnected

Really? You’ve played it? I’m not passing judgement until I’ve played it. I thought that’s what normal people do…

They are going to mess up the squish.

33% faster leveling but will they adjust gold drops for new or returning players leveling to 50? Probably not.

I don’t think you even listened to what I said.

No wonder you get flagged.

“It was really exciting to see a North American guild come out on top for the first time in awhile.”

i wonder how hard he bit down on his tongue having to see Limit beat Method

“There are no plans to have mythic raids open simultaneously between NA and EU. They don’t want the raid opening at bad times or having to delay opening, and most of the race comes down to learning and conquering the fight first.”

yeah considering EU is actually 8 hours ahead of NA of course they don’t wanna risk giving Limit the same chance to start on a mythic the same time as Method and you know it really mustve stung for Watcher seeing Method actually getting defeated even with the head start they had

They’re actually satisfied with the ending they gave us!? Oh boy … that doesn’t give me any confidence at all in their current plans for the future because that was not an ending, it was nothing more than an extended death scene. Imagine if Star Wars A New Hope cut to credits as soon as the Death Star exploded, or LOTR Return of the King cutting to credits right after the One Ring gets destroyed, do you think anyone would be happy with those endings? I actually enjoyed BFA for the majority of the expansion, but that “ending” completely ruined it for me, what they gave us was fine for a start but after we see the Old God buildings fall it needed a final scene of dialogue to fully wrap it up and bring the expansion to an end.

When Blizzard uses a McGuffin to finish a story of BFA and then introduces another McGuffin in shadowlands it feels bad.

Movies that rely on McGuffins often fail because telling a story around a McGuffin takes more effort not less.

Mr. Hazzikostas if you read this please allow players to do the content they enjoy doing. Please stop gating the content that players enjoy doing by putting it behind other types of content. Please bring back PvP and PvE gear vendors. That way everyone can do the content they enjoy and still be rewarded with the same ilevel gear.

Can’t really blame them when you’re acting like a four year old child throwing a temper-tantrum.

Not that I disagree, but in fairness; bullet-points are not the same as a transcript.

You got one view out of me, but I won’t be watching any more content from this channel/show.

The interview was very weak, there was no polite challenge. Ion said they were happy with how corruption turned out. There wasn’t even a polite rebuttal such as, “That’s interesting, the community consensus seems to be very mixed to say the least. How does that align with the team being happy with it?”

Drill further into things if you want to do any sort of worthwhile interviews. “If the community consensus remains the same and corruption is widely disliked, what are Blizzard going to do about it between now and Shadowlands?”

Even the Nzoth answer when he asked if Ion thought it lived up to being a last boss of an expansion or whatever the question was. He just said “Yes” and was obviously quite defensive. Get in there and ask some deeper questions, don’t just take that ridiculous answer.

This was a PR exercise and you let them use you to get it. Wouldn’t be surprised if you agreed to NDA’s and signed other agreements about what questions you’d be allowed to ask, and only ask once, etc. But if so, that’s YOUR FAULT for agreeing to them. While people keep letting Blizzard milk them to get their view out there, rather than an actual interview, this will keep happening.

Have some integrity rather than chasing the views.

This basically sums up how every interview should be done. This one linked here, was basically for show. Nothing but a total wash of Developer’s speak but ignore community concerns.

Typical.

It gives business to the gear sim web sites. Bet they’re loving it. lol

Keep in mind that Ion always says they are happy with whatever the interviewer asks that question. It is a part of his spiel.

that’s because anything he creates is a masterpiece and no one can convince him that he has a made a mistake everything he does is 100% pure genius the notion of being wrong NEVER occurs to him
