I’m not sure how it would work, but they wouldnt have to invest so much manpower in making the game have unique content if it were on the gamepass. If the gamepass model also had microtransactions, they would still make money. I think it would more be a way to bring in new players who are console only and adding to the playerbase.

Random streamers can say anything. That doesn’t mean it’s being “discussed” officially, which seems to be what the OP implies. That’s the reason why you’re being asked questions. This would be very exciting for some people so they naturally want to read about what Microsoft said on the matter specifically.
It would probably be like EverQuest Online Adventures if they did.

Yeah sorry I just don’t get it. Its not even an argument. Just a statement that I’d love a console version of the game with a controller because I don’t prefer mouse clicking methods and find it awkward. The idea is out there, maybe Microsoft will do it, maybe not. Would love it if they did.
It might be hard to implement. Everone might not like it personally, but I’d love it.

Yeah i’m going to say this again for anyone who’s still not getting it that this idea was out there circa 2021. It was speculative then, and it’s speculative now. Hence, an idea floated when Microsoft took over.
I think its fairly clear at this point that’s what I meant and it had been discussed recently.
ask on reddit, you get some very judgmental answers here. Community here hates change and making game more accessible even if just making game available to console players.
Seeing as you can play on a steam deck and controller on pc it would not be a stretch going to console. Heck it will even add players that absolutely cannot bot. Yet the player base here would be up in arms…

Warcraft on Xbox is not coming soon.
But due to lack of add ons, it would be less accessible.
As long as I have the option to turn off cross play, to only play with PC users… shrug
