Warcraft Direct: When Something Is Wrong, You Make It Right

Lifetime sub.

Wouldn’t that just be “No sub” ?
Good luck selling that, multiplied by a few thousand accounts, to the executives.

Or just sack whoever screwed up.

Isn’t that what they normally do when this kind of thing happens?

Imagine wanting to ruin someone’s livelihood because you lost some pixels.

They could find another job.

Maybe.

Might even be a blessing as the pay at Blizz apparently even isn’t that great.

Even better, pixels you don’t actually own. Blizzard owns our accounts, and all the “stuff” we have in the game.

If whomever is responsible for it allowed it to happen then yes, they should be terminated for incompetence.

They could fire the entire team, and players would still want their items restored.

Lol. Keep dreaming. It’s more tangible than ever getting your items back.

It’d improve shattered relations.

You don’t know if they did or didn’t.

No it wouldn’t. Development of all game content would suffer because they need to hire an all new team, and players would complain about Blizzard’s incompetence all that time the new team is being built and brought up to speed.

And the items still wouldn’t be restored.

Unless the new team fixes it.

If theres no way to know what was lost then how do you fix it?

I’ve seen players on the forums claiming to have lost 20-60 gold caps worth of unobtainable items.

So just give everyone that lost anything 20 gold caps and fill their bank with unobtainable items that are tradable?

Some may not have even lost anything, cuz theres not a way to track what was lost

Development of this game has been suffering for quite sometime now – World of Warcraft, The Bugs Within has been to date one of the buggiest xpacs in a very long time…and I’ve lived through every single one including OG WoW.

You forgot the 3rd option.
Keep qqing while paying their sub.

And like a karen, they’ll never accept any answer other than what they want to hear.

You don’t know any of this.

They may have the data or the logs and don’t want to put forth the effort.

I’d wager most (if not all) fortune 500 companies do not operate their software as a service or keep their backups safe by using floppy disks, excel or nothing.

lol you expect something like this just to blow over?

They’re gana let their displeasure be known until Blizz pulls their thumb out and does something.

I know that you don’t possess the requisite necessities to come up with an intelligent answer, but do what exactly?

While continuing to pay a monthly sub to the company that “owes them.”
