it’s not supposed to do anything, it’s just a collectible.
back in vanilla (and TBC) people killed Kel’thuzad and used this item to turn in a quest for a spell power or attack power against demon/undead trinket.
it was so powerful that it was used in TBC in Karazhan and BT/Sunwell.
but its basically just a collectible at this point.
In my bank, i have a quest item “Nightmare Engulfed Object” that i got from killing one of the Nightmare Dragon World Bosses back in vanilla… does nothing, just a little collectible from my early years playing.
i would be upset if i lost that as i’ve had it for almost 20 years at this point.
that flavor text was added in Cataclysm (so that text didn’t exist until after 4.0 was released)
I’ve still got my Holy Mightstone on my pally. It is a one time use for a damage boost against undead for a little bit. But it never seemed like the right time to use it. Keeping it seemed more worthwhile.
Hello, welcome to every corporation ever. It’s the same malarky they try to shove down your throat at any job orientation with a chain retail or restaurant employer.
They’ll drop the facade of “best place to work for with world renown values!” after orientation.
I find it hard to understand why so many people are content with everything blizzard does. If they do something wrong or that the community doesn’t like, etc. Then the community should say something. It’s the game they love, why accept minimal quality because that’s what was provided?
Nobody is saying anything about being content. It sucks that it happens. Hopefully they’ve fixed whatever caused it. But there’s no point in demanding some kind of recompense that is just not realistically possible.
In truth there has to already exist a substantial PH system, with art assets already, and probably far long, if not resolved that graphics/engine hurdle they used as a past reason for not having housing – otherwise they wouldn’t have announced this and put themselves on a time table to show us more.
Even though I don’t “need” the housing feature, I’m pleasantly surprised they’ve been tackling this behind the scenes and seem to be committed to making it happen for all the folks who really do want it.
Apparently there was a hoarder’s tax that no one was made aware of. Sorry they lost their items, but if they have not been returned by now, I don’t see Blizz doing anything but letting this topic join the Dance Studio in the Annals of History.
