Hate to say Plantains, but I think Tokali won this debate. Ill give her half a point for saving the horde in legion by having them withdraw. But ill also take a half point away since she never sent a message or something to explain to the alliance what happened. Ill give her a point since she got attacked by the alliance, BUT ill also take a point away from her since she made a selfish deal with helya.

Her major accomplishment was adding more races too the Horde. She started this practice so she gets the lions share of the credit.
Wait what? Varian and his SI7 stooges lead us into a trap he didn’t save us. He had no plan to close the portal and didnt even ask Khadgar how. His whole ill conceived plan was doomed from the start.
Genn started the war even Saurfang acknowledged this.
Thats not what happens. Arthas rode her down you can even hear him ride up on her with his horse if you listen. And blizz has already said those cinematic are not fully canon her fight in “Arthas: Rise of the Lich King” was more accurate.

Sylvannas’ story and in-universe accomplishments are an overstretched celebration of mediocrity, at best.

So the Horde getting wiped out and you then being flanked from the ridge would have been better? The Legion would have won immediately.
She also sounded her horn of retreat on the ridge. Blizzard just wanted a reason for the faction tension to continue and conveniently left that out for the Alliance.

Sylvanas was gifted 8 valkyr to forestall her visit with hellish eternity. If she was half as devious and clever as the writers claim she is, that many reset buttons could last centuries. But because of her glorious, limitless incompetence, she’s down to her last one after like a decade.
And I think that says everything that needs saying about the character. She couldn’t be a more consistent, more dramatic failure at everything if she were a woman in a 1950s sitcom.

Funny thing is if Gen had not interfered in Legion she would have got what she wanted and probably wouldn’t have even started the war in the first place.

I guess if you kept them locked up in a dungeon somewhere. I gonna give the writers too much credit here but it’s possible she viewed them as another quick tool. Lets her be more aggressive towards her goal, as long as she secures it it doesn’t matter how many die.

Shes already a slave in a murder cult run by an egotistical mad man. SO it would just be changing owners. Also the Horde has slavery even under Thrall so you are in the wrong faction if you dont want that.

Vairan was a Horde slave in Org when Thrall was Warchief google it. What do you think we do with criminals and prisoners? We dont have jails they are enslaved.
