Bingo, I read up on it and just thought “this is just a lesser version of swtors legacy system, cool” and went about my day.
Never said I was upset, simply stated Warbands could be better and I expected them to build and expand on it more than what it is. Ya’ll really getting offended and it’s great/sad.

I don’t think anybody’s really getting offended. I think they’re just making fun of you for making assumptions. That’s the problem with this forum is the moment you have an opinion about something you can get attacked for it and the moment you express what you wish would’ve happened then you really get attacked. There’s a reason why most of these people have more than 20,000 post count. They spend most of it here mocking others even if you take on this whole thing was bad and your opinion should’ve been kept to yourself.

Its common for the player base to make up absurd notions on what a new feature is and over hype it.
That said… i didn’t expect warbound gear to be so utterly useless.

This is exactly why we have Classic.
The problem of Warbands is that visually it feels like it’s exactly that, or at worse, making people think that your share things just with your four first characters.
In fact, Warband is just a fancy name for “Account-bound”, because even who are the characters hanging by the campfire doesn’t matter.
A great addition would really be adding a fifth charactre to the “camp favorites” and have that as a setup for the follower dungeons.

You are having trouble leveling up alts? Really?
Warbound gear is good if you don’t really play your characters…and that sounds like a backhanded compliment. If you have alts that you level for farming, professions, or RP then the gear is good for doing those things. If you have alts for mythic+, raiding, or pvp it gets iffy. Since I do none of things I will not speak on how good the gear is for that. What I do know is that it is world level gear and I don’t think it would be that good for those activities.
Not at all, just saying there wasn’t really a buff from Warbands. They nerfed leveling and gave us back % XP.
Its kinda pointless. You can argue it is mildly useful but honestly 3k of crafted blues gets you into mythic and a world quest tour in wm gets you bloody coin gear.
If you go to grind the ring for an alt odds are you will have a full set of warbound gear from the vendor.
It is truly frustrating it can’t be of relevant ilv to what you are doing if you moved past mythic base level dungeons.
SWTOR uses Legacy. Blizz didn’t want to use the same thing.

Yeah, I am not doing mythic or wm. Great if that is what you want to do but for people that just want to very easily gear their characters for trivial content warbound gear is good. Not everyone plays the way you do or have the same goals.
The only issue I have with warbound gear is that I thought it would be a few ilvls lower than the gear from the content it dropped from. Since I don’t do high level content I thought that it was working that way. Especially since I did not see any post complaining about warbound gear.
Its more or less disenchantment/vendor fodder. Its not really an issue and unlocks some mogs you normally gear past.
Its just seen as pointless and trivial gear. Its mostly ignored barring tier early on.
All I really want, is warbound crests and valorstones at this point. And probably other currencies I’m forgetting.

Who says they aren’t? It’s entirely plausible that in the future it may end up working that way.
It’s just a fancy term for everything being account wide rather than by character.
