I guess its safe to say they aren’t actively working on the fix and have instead decided to punt it to reset and just not say anything about it.
Typical blizzard maneuver. Radio Silence.
I sure wish they’d provide updates on their main forums. Some random obscure developer probably posted something on stupid X, and the “communication” team was like “Thats good enough. We don’t need to post it on our main forums because this guy got it covered on X.”.
I wish, at least I would see it. I follow all those random obscure wow developers.
They could pop on here and explain the issues in detail and none of us would know wtf they were talking about. So how does that solve anything? They cpould come in here and give a eta. But you all know you would have a complete meltdown the moment it was 1 second past that eta. So, explain, why the hell would they come here to say anything?
If they wanted to “blow off some heat” the crowd has, they should just throw that up on the launcher until then, I guess. “Yo, this broke and we gotta fix it.” - Gibblewibble Steamsmack
It’s on the launcher now… Maintenance Tue 7AM to 11AM.
Someone should start a pool now on how many extensions.
Its communication. ITs Something. I’d rather have something that I may or may not understand in its entirety than nothing.
This is a relationship between company and customer. And all relationships die when you stop talking.
We’re asking what’s going on, and we’re getting nothing in return. Just a metaphorical blank stare of “why are you talking to me.” The moment we stop asking, this game dies. And its sadly heading that way. We’re potentially entering another Shadowlands era. One that they stated they had learned lessons from.
That’s just the maintenance window. We don’t know if they’ll be fixing the warbank during that time. I think if they had a fix ready, they’d have told us about it by now. The lack of news makes it seem like there’s not even an ETA on fixing it.
The company IS obligated to provide what they are charging us for when they say they are going to provide it. Try your logic when you order a large meal out and the company doesnt provide it for 4 days. You dont have to know how long I’ve been playing the game , that’s MY business, and what I’ve learned is also MY business.
The TOS are the TOS, and they outline what Blizzard is obligated to provide to us, and it isn’t what you’re describing here. Release dates are non-binding, and gameplay experience is not guaranteed. You can like that or dislike it, or like me, you can be indifferent, but what you think you’re owed is not, in fact, what you’re owed.
That example is a false equivalency. You are still getting the service you paid for.
Simply wrong.

And there you are being completely unhinged. The warband bank will be useful but it’s not crucial to your experience. The concept of things being “warbound” still works. The warband bank is still being fixed. It’s better that they fix it first and then release it, than to release it in a poor state.
You are being unreasonable, and so is anyone who agrees with you. Completely not worthy of consideration and a pure example of why Blizzard disregards a lot of our community opinions.
Well, looks like Friday is a bust on the bank situation. I’m starting to agree with some others that this may be a Tuesday reset thing. I could be wrong… But I guess we’ll see. Night all.
i mean… they have done 3 maintenances this week… is not like something is going to explode if they do a maintenance for a good reason now… just saying
Be nice if we get some sort of updates by a blue.
It’s the weekend now, so we won’t hear anything until Monday, and even then, they might not say anything.
A guild bank is a thing designed for an entire guild to contribute towards. The 8th guild bank tab at 20k, in a guild that has, say, 30 people, splits out to 667g (rounding up) per person. In a guild that has 10 people, that’s 2k per person.
In addition, these guild bank tabs came at a time when Guild Perks was introduced. One of those perks being Cash Flow, which essentially generated a bonus 10% of all gold looted by players in the guild, and automatically contributed to the guild bank.
Trying to use that as some sort of “exorbitant” cost would be pretty disingenuous.
I demand an update to candy corn.
It was still expensive. Especially for one person guilds and small guilds.
But you skipped over the entire point: things that were expensive gold sinks at one point are cheaper now. Other examples are the mammoth, yak, bruto, spider, warframe mounts, etc.
And I didn’t post the SWTOR Legacy bank costs for my health.
So going back to the actual point…
