Warband Characters Missing

I logged in and my entire warband is missing. All my other toons are showing but the 4 favorite slots just gone.

Try a full UI reset. If that doesn’t work, and you favourites still don’t appear within the Warbands on the character select screen, submit a bug report.

Which characters are missing?

I would agree, that any shenanigans that may be happening with the Warband should be reported as a bug, but beyond that, hopefully we can find your missing characters.

ALL your characters on that WoW license are the Warband. Any favorite groups you create are just that - favorite groups. They are not the only ones in the Warband.

Just to check the obvious, did you accidentally minimize the favorites group?

To expand upon what Cäpslöck posted, make sure you didn’t minimize the Favorites list at the top.

This is the default screen for the character screen. It shows the Favorites list opened and showing the character in that list.

This shows the same character screen with the Favorites list minimized. To make the Favorites list show again, just click the yellow + symbol.

Going one step further, you can also minimize the entire character list by clicking the at bottom right of screen. Then the character screen will appear as follows:

To make the full character list appear again, just click the at the bottom right of screen.

Mogs-silvermoon Mogli-silvermoon I had a goblin that was max level and I can’t see her either (her name escapes me right now) but all my max level characters are gone.

That character is on Silvermoon as well as the two you mentioned.

Just to ask again, because you didn’t say one way or another. Have you used the search option? Have you manually selected Silvermoon from the realm selection list?

The characters are on Silvermoon, they haven’t been deleted or moved.

Another thing to try is to delete character-list-order.txt and renaming character-list-order.old to .txt from the appropriate account sub-folder in your WTF folder (this should also fix your character list if it gets out of order ).
