Maybe if Blizzard wasn’t biased and gave the Horde attention outside faction conflict expansion we actually had a decent non alliance dominated story for once.
If I had to make a guess on it, this is why he’s leaving (excluding any irl issues with his voice actor.) We are gonna rebuild Atiesh whether for us or an NPC who knows. But Karazhan will make a comeback of some sorts, whether as a place of power due to laylines, maybe Illidan brings back the last titan Sargeras (assuming Azeroth hasn’t hatched yet) as a last ditch effort to fight off the void in a battle we are losing and some Medivh connections make Karazhan relevant. But the portal there from Atiesh will be relevant.
100% could be wrong, but I don’t see Blizz throwing it all away for no reason.
