imagine killing khadgar just like that… I guess what happened with medivh spirit on karazhan tower isnt cannon anymore? well I think I’m giving them too much credit after how tirion fordring died in legion…
/clicks spoilers
Oh, thank god.
For a moment I was worried TWW would open with some Horde story. That was a close one!
So, ta-ta Dalaran hearthstone?
You know… why can’t we as players bring back npcs seeing you say that?
Like “oh no” here’s a brez
Pretty sure it will still take you to “Legion” Dalaran.
oh no the horde is not the center of attention every story line whatever will you do.
Why would there be? He isn’t a main character of WW.
The destruction of Dalaran is almost positively the pre-patch event, seeing as you start there on the alpha.
Which means anything pertaining to Dalaran would not be until the 11.0 PTR.
We only ever get basic knowledge of what happens in the pre-patch before the pre-patch PTR.
We haven’t been the “center” of a story since Warlords of Draenor. Ever since then Horde storylines, NPCs and races have been just kinda…around. Sometimes literally just sitting in the background somewhere. While the Alliance moves the plot.
I’m all for Alliance having story, especially since they had a long running problem where their plotlines were in novels instead of the game, but we do need balance.
“Boohoo, crying Hordies not being center of attention, aww” needs to stop. We barely get in game story anymore.
…If we’re counting Sylvanas let’s not, she got all that story after literally disavowing the Horde and leaving it and nobody liked that story anyway.
EDIT: I admit part of it is that major NPCs who are faction neutral have close ties to the Alliance and are part of Alliance races. Many of these are legacy NPCs from the RTS. But like… why can’t we have some faction neutral Tauren hanging around?
That’s depressing if true.
So, does that mean Atiesh is up for grabs again?
If he is gone, it would make sense.
They’ve been foreshadowing it hard, at the start of this expansion and at the end, during the party. Also, I adore Tony Amendola’s work, writing the character off properly gives him a chance to have a proper send-off, like how Michael Bell got to do for Medivh.
Saurfang tho?
That’s caster loot!
/roll
Scuzz rolls a 3
DAMMIT! >.<
That’s the real mind bender, when he was young he was made to look old, but that was so long ago that he is infact old now.
He’s like double old.
He’s double the grandpa.
And I live for it.
Remember, no one is actually dead unless it happens in a cutscene.
Grandpa squared. The mega-gramps
sips tea and waits a moment
Ya’ll do know worst come to worst…we can likely just figure out a way to speak to him from the Shadowlands right?
ducks as someone throws a boot
He was the closest we had to relevance in the long run in Battle for Azeroth which, to be fair, was a mess on both sides. But Alliance was definitely more coherent!
(Miss you, Saurfang)

You say that but we still had to put up with Ysera.
Yea basically he’ll just pop up in Oribos like.
“Damn guess I really smashed up Dalaran good that time”.
