War Within purchased but not showing in game and still have the upgrade option showing

Hi,I purchased the War Within,and it’s showing as complete in my transaction history.But the content isn’t showing and still have the upgrade option showing on my character selection screen.Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have multiple accounts? Did you maybe purchase it on a different one?

Have just the main one and a starter one I never play.

Check your launcher, double check you didn’t purchase it on your starter account.

Ok seems the upgrade option goes away when I click on the starter account and shows the war within logo.So guess thats upgraded?If so will just subscribing the starter account change that one into a full account with the expansion?

It would, but if you intended to buy the expansion on your main account you can put in a ticket to support under ‘Problem with purchase’ and Blizz should be able to assist in fixing it.

Well, just having the sub transforms the base game into the full (sans TWW) game, but presumably you want to hang onto your existing characters.

If that’s the case, you’ll want to avoid accessing game features and open the ticket as Busyboo suggests. I’d avoid logging in for the moment.

Perhaps the automated refund service will work for you.

I have a question on the auto service. I have seen around that it has a good chance of not working. (Probably since it’s auto it checks X’s and Y’s, but billing issues aren’t always black and white.) If it denies the refund, people will be able to request again, correct?

Absolutely. :slight_smile: I’ve seen the CSF staff recommend human contact after such failures.

That is actually a very good way of explaining how the refund self-help works. For a lot of things, it works fine. For more complex issues, not so much.

If self-help doesn’t work, putting in a ticket allows a GM to look into it to see if a refund can be granted.
