It has been a long time since I played it, but I enjoyed it when I did. The questlines can be fun, there is a lot to see, and the housing is pretty decent. They have a good spread of races, and the ability to switch sides to whatever faction you like is wonderful.
That said, since it went FTP it is a little restrictive. FTP accounts are a lot more limited, but I suppose it works for checking it out. It also looks a little dated since, unlike WoW, they haven’t really been updating the graphics as much.
Yeah it’s the same with EQ1. You can play for free but you’re playing at like 20% power at end level because of it lol and same thing with the graphics - look at EQ1 graphics and then look at 2. Both fall short bad lol
Honestly, I’d rather have more small zones than less big ones.
The same goes for raids, dungeons etc.
But I’m not really feeling Twin, so I’m gonna focus on old content for this whole expansion.
There is A LOT I have yet to do from Vanilla → DF, and this will be my time to do it.
