it wasn’t really that they were more pale, we’ve seen night elves look more pink then a darker purple, it was just that their skin color stopped being pink and purple specifically

no it didn’t, they’re still pink, it’s just quite pale. The more tan blood elf skin options from the old model were closet in color to a bad sunburn (very red, even for me as someone with reddish colored skin)

that wasn’t exactly the same kind of pink though to be honest, that was more of a deeper flowery pink then a more caucasian seeming pink
So like…who is to say that the BE skintones weren’t always that versatile? Blizzard has been choking the community from customizations for … what guys? 12 years?

does the player behind the character understand that the most likely outcome for an explanation (that is not owed at all) from Blizzard is going to be “the Sunwell did it” whether it’s retroactive application or a new development?
