Why did the orcs and dwarves who lived in the volcanoes and mountains become actually black-skinned? You’d think they’d be paler because they’re deep underground, but no. Magic did it. Why is melanin so important to you?

yes, I as a mixed race person myself am very xenophobic because I find applying human melanation tropes to elves in disregard of previous lore unusual

My head-canon is that they’re half-elves, since that’s becoming increasingly common, and I can mentally grasp melanin suddenly becoming a factor in their species much more easily if human genetics were also in play.
Works great for me, but some people here can’t even settle with me having that opinion. They’re going to browbeat me into being a smoothbrain and pretending it’s a bad thing to think about.
I frankly wish this conversation were happening face to face, it’d be quite revealing.

I have other more important things to demand. I demand to know why characters can’t wear items of clothing too big for them in the game. if I want a gnome walking around with 5 feet of drag because the dress was tailored for a kaldorei, by god I am entitled.
Unless there is some lore reason I can’t wear clothes too big for me since I haven’t ever seen it done.
