Arm Warrior is still the best class in the arena and even better than fire mage. A 10% nerf to defensive stance is not enough.
Holy priest mana cost is so efficient and even better than Druid. The instant chastise and fear is too op.
If you look at the high rating above 2100 CR, the top three classes are War, Holy P, and Mage.
So why only mage get nerfed? War and priests need to be nerfed too.

Going to have to disagree about the warrior nerf. It was a pretty big nerf to be honest and arms is way easier to kill than last season. However when it comes to hpriest they are the most broken spec in the game right now 90% of games seem like they have a hpriest now.

defensive stance has never been the problem, the real problem is ignore pain a 12s CD shield of 8-10k that absorbs twice as much (because de 50% damage reduction) … I mean it is literally an instant free fleshcraft every 12s … WTF is that? the DKs Icebound fortitude reduces de damage on 30% and have 3min CD … where tf is the logic on ignore pain?
I feel like I’ve responded to this before, but a 10k shield does not absorb twice as much. It absorbs just that, 10k. Ignore pain reduces damage by 50% until ~10k damage has been stopped.
It may even be wrong to call it a 50% damage reduction, because it doesn’t really reduce incoming damage. Half goes to health, half goes to the shield. Still 100% damage intake.
is quantitative data like this even reliable yet? Seems really early to use rating to judge a class’s power, considering there are probably more warriors in the ladder atm than many others because of last season’s zug-zug-athon. Qualitative data is probably better to use for now.
However, based on my experience and watching Magnus’s stream, warriors seem to be a lot easier to manage. with the dstance nerf, death sentence nerf, and indirect vers nerf w/ the trinket changes, I feel it’s more difficult to stay in melee range of my target while being squishier.
I haven’t had too much experience in this season yet so maybe it’s different for you guys at much higher ratings
Honestly i feel like warriors are ok right now. I feel like the only difference between an oppressive warrior and a free win is a good player. Unlike DH where their class is just pve your way to victory with 0 concerns because 37s blur, netherwalk, demon heals, and darkness. Warriors should be oppressive. And with dstance nerf you can actually kill them if youre paying attention. Dont distract everyine from the real goal which is nerfing DH

True nerf dh blur conduit and immolation aura damage in pvp and then they’d be less faceroll and more skill expression.

I had a DH last night who left his healer accross the entire arena and behind a pillar while he had 10% hp, but he didnt die because his blur decided to be 99% dodge for 8s
Imagine having the cojones to call for nerfs to other specs when you main a fire mage and one of them is your best 3’s partner. Respect.

The only thing warriors need right now, is reliable self healing.
We have virtually no self sustain or healing abilities while almost every other class does. The only options we have is victory rush which only works under a given condition, the option then being to take impending victory which is a no go because its on the same row as Storm bolt.
If warriors were outputting more damage then they are ? i would say yes, dont get me wrong they have great sustain and burst but not having any healing feels really really bad.
They tried to temper this by giving us ignore pain which, yeah its OK but not great.
Not sure if a nerf to the blur condy would really make a difference to DH playstyle. 2k-2400 DH mains would still pop blur after taking a tap from a bladestorm tick and complain about dying 10 secs later.
Arms nerf? Nope they are fine, the 2 set trinket change and Dstance nerf hurt it more than expected for early season play. I’d say they are fair to play against atm and will remain this way till the end.
Hpriest nerf? Ya something has to give, Gfade/fly/stun/ward just one too many tools that were added to make up for their incredible lack of hps earlier this expac and the last expac. Now that there hps is in line with the others having all these things is oppressive. Fly might as well be bubble to most melee, Gfade should be SP only, and ward should be a 10sec duration at most. Getting rid of fly or Gfade won’t ruin the spec holy has arguably the best pvp talents to choose from of any healer.
Oh, and nerf rogue/DH/survival hunter while your at it.
Holy ward should last ten seconds and only be usable on the priest
