They bonafide weird me out. I don’t know what it is. Their faces give me an uncanny valley feel and their idle swaying doesn’t help.
Dwarves are fine. Goblins are fine. Vulpera, no problem. It’s just something about Gnomes.

I think they have strange body proportions and weird idle animations (they can’t stand still)
And also their hair and faces are awful, even after the update. Probably more so after the update.
But I’ve seen people do alright things with them. Rita never looked bad with all their gnomes.
Fortunately a lot of the gnomes on the forum are hidden by weapons that aren’t as ugly as their faces

Thought the same thing. Was going to give him a full beard and mustache to see if that helped, but it really didn’t.

Gnome idle swaying doesn’t hold a candle to female pandaren idle swaying. It’s difficult to even transmog one because they won’t stop twisting back and forth and blocking your view.

Okay, so hear me out:
Make a gnome character and then go fishing. Watch the face while they’re fishing.
If that doesn’t fix it for you, nothing will.
I sympathize however because I desperately wanted to love the Kul Tiran models. I truly did because the druid forms are just SMASHING. But the faces on the KT females give me a seriously intense uncanny valley. I could not hang out with them.
But for real…try the fishing thing. It’s the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen in this game. If you can’t hang out with them after that, I think it’s just gonna be a no for you, dawg.
WORD. I cannot do a Panderan toon. Cannot. Do it. The “/tee hee, I’m so stupid” pose they do and the constant slack arm swinging thing they do is just…I’m not gonna lie; it makes me unreasonably angry to watch. Yep. That’s another one I can’t do.
