Problem is that PF isn’t about obtaining flying, flight is just the carrot.
There is no problem. Blizzard has already said that Pathfinder will continue in its current iteration. That’s something you need to accept. Creating new spam threads won’t suddenly change their response.
This is like a child getting mad at dad because dad said no so they run crying to mom hoping for a yes.
Not true. You had the option to use a tabard in dungeons or do the dailies. Choice. Something the devs have taken away from us players over the years.
And here I thought people played for fun. Seems fun goes right out the window and convenience is favored. If that’s the case every single person that says “you can’t not fly when it’s available” should be asking for flying earlier.
You want people suspended because they have a different opinion than you? Because that’s pretty much what you’re saying. We have the freedom to post here as long as we follow the rules. Flying threads don’t violate any of those rules.
While I do (or did) miss the tabards, I don’t think I can chain run that many dungeons again without losing my sanity.
Nope, that’s not what I said.
This is very true, however, creating spam and duplicate threads is not within the rules.
Flying threads are not exempt from the rules, this is a very common occurrence with certain posters.
Just because you think it’s spam doesn’t mean people can’t post their opinions on flying. I think most of the posts you make are provoking and dismissive in nature. I believe that’s against the rules as well. To be clear I think the posts you make to provoke or incite a certain unrestful response are against the rules.
That’s right, you’re right about this. It turns into spam when it’s spam. lol
If you believe that I have broken the forum CoC go ahead and report me, that’s what the report button is for. Do know that if you abuse that report button that your account can be actioned for doing so.
Anything posted against the OP of a thread could be viewed in such a way.
Yes you can have both because that is how the WotLK model worked when it comes to earning rep. I think people have to accept that the lack of player agency is a big reason why the topic isn’t going away anytime soon. Especially since shadowlands isn’t coming out till Nov/Dec of 2020.
Plenty of time to talk about patchfinder and how it is flawed!
Tabards for rep is something I really miss… I’m not sure it would solve pathfinder complaints as the wait is a far greater issue than the rep grind, but really, I’d still like them back!
Nah hope they stand their ground so the 50 constant complainers trying to rule the community up quit. Most of the people supporting them don’t necessarily like pathfinder, Mostly out of laziness, but would just do the content to get flight and carry on with their lives.
Reporting this thread as spam as it is yet again another pathfinder thread by one of the same people creating and complaining in other similar threads solely for the purpose of cluttering the forums and making it appear to blizzard like more people passionately care about the issue than actually do.
Honestly, the idea an organization would let you wear it’s tabard, and let you represent them, before even knowing you, and giving you reputation for their faction by randomly spamming dungeons for a few days is kinda silly.
Usually you have to earn wearing a factions colors.
I don’t see any flying threads as spam. Just people who are passionate about an aspect of the game they truly enjoy.
Then wouldn’t earning said trust immediately give you the right to fly in their air space?
Actually no because you buy the tabard from a vendor which is a fair exchange for representation.
By displaying a tabard and slaying dragons and other tasks you are earning reputation around the world by displaying your tabard for all to see.
It makes a lot more sense to me than a rep contract IMO.
I don’t think that their trust is whats preventing you from flying in the airspace. That’s just a mechanical thing, Flight paths still exist after all
How wouldn’t reputation contract make more sense?
“Hey, I’ll make you a deal, lets make a contract here, I’ll dedicate my actions on doing positive things in the world, and do it under your name.”
Insted of.
“Give me your tabard to slap on and run around and go into a dungeon and murder things for 2 days and then we’ll be best friends.”
I guess you accept terrible service and never complain. That’s cool, you do what makes you happy.
I don’t make a habit of accepting the spiteful habits of companies I choose to give my money. Either they back off of this or they lose money, let’s see how their “engagement” metrics look then.
It’s just a dev spite thing. Story excuses are fine except when they’re not.
