Bring back reputation tabards players can grind it out on their terms thru current dungeons with pugs

Most of the complaining threads would stop almost overnight

Well theyd be optional you could still grind rep with WQs etc

But for others they could choose to wear them since they run pugs anyway why not let the players use them or not

Let’s be real though, if rep tabards for BfA rep existed there would be no point. Paragon cash alone would be motivation to spam as many mob filled dungeons as possible.

Pathfinder just needs a bit of tweaking, all the requirements need to be available from the start not broken up into parts later down the line.

Well easy fix for that once you hit paragon on that alt it simply causes that respective tabard to stop working

I think it would be cool if maybe it still needed exalted rep on the first character to buy, but the tabard was account bound?

Would you think that’s fair?

Tabards would not stop the complaints because most of the complaints are about the timegating (or not being able to buy it once you hit max level).

I personally would rather they bring back MoP’s commendation system. I’m not against bringing back tabards for rep but I just don’t think it will do what you think it will with regard to PF.

Agreed, entirely.

How does something not for you, ruin the experience for you? Couldn’t you just avoid wearing them?

Those tabards ruined outfits for me~ Know you can hide them now but some wounds never heal.

You dont need to wear them. Just like the folks that dont like flying don’t need to fly (but they do and buy flying mounts off the cash shop)

I agree with this. Pathfinder is fine. But make it one part, and in the
game on the first day of a expansion. There is no reason why the
first one to hit level cap should not be able to earn , and use, flying.

There are so many ways to prevent spam. For starters a weekly cap on reputation when the expansion launches that expands outward every week. So by the say, 3rd month of the expansion you can get exalted on everything available with effort.

For the paragon system it should work the same way. A paragon reward for each faction should cap at 1 per week. That currently works out to the same paragon system we have now. All you need is caps on the numerical gains people get that way you can have rep gains anywhere in the world which is a far better system than what we have now.

Reputation tabards let people grind beyond the same world quests over and over again.

I didn’t mind so much doing multiple dungeons, especially since I could pace myself and it felt like bonus things to do towards a goal on top of waiting for quests reset.

My preference towards tabards has nothing to do with pathfinder so much as it does everything else requiring rep status.
