Different people want different things.
BfA 100% got switched up half way through. The drama with A.A definitely played a part. And it’s clear that 8.3 was rushed together.

Most of the people complaining about DF’s story are the same people who kept going “omg I’m sooooo tired of all these cosmic baddies and bigger baddies wow has jumped the shark I just wanna go back to Azeroth!!!”

I mean, I know I won’t cry about it. A lot of the darker themes have been being removed for years. The one they removed that I missed the most was the bald gnome males that were alluded to be covered in perfumes and oils, serving people there. Lol.
Just running into the same knobheads over and over on Discord and Reddit for long enough.

The way the SW fans treated Kelly Marie Tran and Hayden Christensen was pretty horrid. It wasn’t their fault the movies were garbage, it was the directors and writers.

This fan base seems to have more people that hat the game but can’t quit playing just like Star Wars has fans that scream bloody murder very time a new movie or t.v. show comes out but continue to hate watch anyway. It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad to watch.
True, but some people around here treat the people that make the game pretty awful too.
People treating the player base like a hivemind; any argument works then in that context… wanna bet the people asking for less content will then proceed to scream about it when they get it? wanna bet the people asking for more content will then proceed to scream about it when they get it?
The statistical probability is there in your favour simply because someone will always dislike something in the game.
