Instead of Inner Balance, it’s a Balanced Budget.
how do you put a pandaren in Gilneas prior to the Greymane Wall breaking down in Cataclysm?
How do you not run into a pandaren twelve years later though?!
Same way you put a worgen in wrath prior to them even being created in gilneas xD
If they can be made into dks in legion due to some dk path, they can get trained to be monks in the new starter island.
because
if you really want Worgen Monks, you have to retro something for Worgens leveling in CATACYLSM Gilneas, not Exiles Reach
Worgen Monk could work in Exiles Reach but now you have to apply it to Gilneas leveling
that is time locked the way they wrote the introduction to Worgen
I still say we should have gotten Light Forged Elves and Void Draenei.
People who wanted High Elves/Alliance Elf Pally’s would have gotten what they wanted, as well as the people who want more of that dark Eredar, Draenei warlock fantasy.
LFD are a glorified customization option.
Nah just starter zone lock monk worgens to the island.
Same way when you make a dh belf/nelf, you go through their specific starter zone.
They should have given monks to everyone when they gave everyone rogue/mage/priest.
That’s not an issue. At all. I don’t know why it would be. If a panda bear is happening to wander around Azuremyst Isle on the opposite side of the planet and see the Exodar crash, there’s nothing stopping a retcon while Worgen Monks are locked to Exiles reach.
thats 50% logic, you have to make a way to put Worgen Monks in Gilneas Cataclysm
you can’t
so it can’t happen
plus…
Exile’s Reach are NPC/races that are AFTER Legion lore, since coming out of Exiles Reach, all new players go straight to BfA
A worgen monk doesn’t exist in Cataclysm (BEAUSE NO PANDAREN COULDN’T GET TO GILNEAS) , it doesn’t make ANY sense for a Worgen Monk to show up in BfA time era when there wasn’t any in Gilneas Cataclysm
It’s AFTER the Cataclysm, what are you smoking?
you have to apply lore retro for Cataclysm leveling in Gilneas
you CAN’T
because there wasn’t a pandaren in Gilneas
It’s 100% logic. You aren’t thinking about it at all.
You even said it yourself.
“Exile’s Reach are NPC/races that are AFTER Legion lore” - Worgens have been in SW since cata. Legion is years later.
They have plenty of time time to intermingle.
Exactly why I said to lock worgen monks specificly to the island starter zone.
Edit:
Based on all the lore I could find. They never mention the exact time zone. " exile’s reach is intentionally ambiguous with where it would fit in the time line although the island I believe is supposed to be south of Stormhiem. So after legion likely."
So theoretically they could throw any class/race combo they want there as long as it happens after a certain point, as long as they never state WHAT point.
Tagging you so you can read the above edit as well.
A Lightforged Rogue makes lots of sense.
In fact IRL things like murder and assassinations are frequently motivated by blind faith and religion.
Still, no excuse for a lack of Worgen Monks.
What’s your point? There weren’t any pandaren in Alternate Timeline Draenor either…
That’s the dumbest reason. That’s like saying Mecha Gnomes can’t be Monks because they’ve been rotting away on Trash Can Island until very recently.
worgen should be able to be monks
even goblins i guess
Once again… if you’re going to apply for exiles reach, you have to apply for Gilneas leveling
Plus Blizzard already confirmed their reason why
https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/e37bck/blizzard_said_the_reason_why_worgen_and_goblins/
except by BfA Mechagnomes have already been introduced to various classes, we helped them liberate Mechagon, they learned from us
plus they are now part of Mekkatorques Gnomes since they all joined together to be unified
the only way you could get Worgen Monks is Blizzard does a “Bolvar went grocery shopping for dead bodies in BfA hence why allied races can be Death knights” for the monk class
VIA back to Pandaria expansion with some Pandaria threat, and the Shadowpan needs help and will recruit anyone
Even then the excuse is really poor, because Worgen didn’t technically have Druids when they started. They had Harvest Witches, human ‘druids’ in a sense, who only became proper Druids after running into the Night Elves.
So, to play up the British Culture in the same vein, Blizzard could easily place a ‘Pugilist’ class trainer specifically for Gilneans that would eventually interpret into Monks after running into a Night Elf Monk Trainer.
It’s so incredibly laughable how paper thin the lore excuse is.
So you apply this when making a nelf/belf dh?
Or allied race dks?
Got it.
Also you can’t link a reddit post with zero bluepost links rofl. There is nothing there but a header.
^ read that because it seems you missed my edit.
On your same post. Someone instantly broke the logic as well.
"Tauren and draenei say hello.
Honestly since time travelling orcs, bubbled for ten thousand years elves and cyborg gnomes can be monks there’s really no excuse.
Even given the current state of things isolation is no longer an excuse either. Just say a panda somehow got past the wall (the worgen did after all) and saw how bloody the civil war was, then started teaching people self defense. And would you look at that, all that inner peace stuff is really good for maintaining your humanity as a worgen. For goblins, panda just washed up on the shore and opened a mall dojo.
It’s not hard to explain how they’d get there at all, frankly. I strongly suspect the real reason was time constraints back in MoP. Back when every race had a janky, unique skeleton and had to be completely hand animated. Odds are worgen and goblins in their old models had issues with the animations and they already had to do about ten races (and this is the first class to have unique animations too, VFX aside).
Now every race shares the same skeleton to a point where you can slap any racial animation on a different race, and after a bit of adjustment it’ll look very passable. And the worgen and goblins are now up to that modern standard."
