I remember hearing lore reasons being that Worgen are too internally conflicted wrestling with the curse to be able to control Chi, and Goblins would rather die than meditate on their own internal state.

See the thing is, Worgen shouldn’t be Death Knights.
They’re specifically built to fight the Scourge and be resistant to the curse of the Undead.

that could work. but…Genn has shown a few times he can be human form a whole fight.
I"ve often wished the rest can do that. I never got how a MM hunter sniper gilnean goes all hulk angry mode…squeezing a trigger.
squeeze trigger, Hulk , err worgen, angry. one would think a sniper would have mastered control. Breath control, sight alignment sight picture, dead center mass. all that good stuff the Marines tought me to shoot.
it can almost be zen like. zen and the art of shooting paper targets at 100 yards.

There original reason was because their starter zone is timegated to before/during the cataclysm. Monk’s didn’t release until mop.
Worgens were stuck in their city, and goblins were on their island.
Again, that was the original reason. 12 years later, I wonder what their reasoning is now lol.

Yea I thought it was dumb at the time as well.
Now I could care less because I’m not a big fan of worgens, but it’s still silly logic.

They managed to write lore for worgen dks, but not worgen monks.
It’s that kind of writing that we can’t have nelf paladins and it took THIS long to get spacegoat rogues.
