Wait for the actual evidence before you judge

Seriously. Haven’t we learned this? Just because someone files a suit and makes claims doesn’t make it so. Not defending either side, just saying that just because it is printed on a legal filing doesn’t make it true or factual.

Well seeing how many witnesses are coming out and saying it’s true and this investigation has been going on for 2+ years but the government itself, we can def be hard press not to think these allegations aren’t true.

This is no longer a he said she said type of situation.

this isn’t a couple employees suing the company my dude, this is the state of california filing a lawsuit after 2 years of investigation. they wouldn’t be doing this if they weren’t positive they could win

People want evidence and will only accept a video, the victim holding 2 forms of ID, four of their friends there with Neil taking notes. And the harassers grandmother there identifying them.

Investigations lacking in substantial evidence don’t last two years.

There were pictures.

Additionally, I’m not giving Blizzard any benefit of the doubt, because they showed Quinton Flynn and Swifty none. Even with the former proven innocent.

They set the standard, I’m only holding them to it.

Aye, I already see a lot of people trying to defend this type of sh!t or saying “please, you will still play”.

Holy crap, the lack of empathy in a lot of these threads just tell me “yup, this is how crap like Blizzard was doing and every people in power get away with things”.

What does this mean exactly though?
2 years of what?
Every day for 2 years? Every week? Every month? Every 6 months?

How much work was put in during those 2 years? Because if they only looked in once per year, they could still call it a 2 year investigation but would it reeealllly be one?

Keep defending and using “what ifs” as your defense.

By that reply I can tell you don’t know.
You just like the number because it sounds big.

…holy crap dude, is this what you think why they’re going after Blizzard and not because of the actual things they are doing? You just think California bad so they don’t care so why care? What is wrong with you.

I do know, go read the document. I’m not holding your hand, the lawsuit is out for you to look at.

It’s exactly it. That’s why when Gamergate popped up in my head it’s immediately a terrible thing. One reason this apathy exists here is because there’s a lack of exposure to diversity. Gamers are predominantly male, predominantly white (In the NA), so therefore when stories of racism, sexism, and gender identity pop up it’s met with hostility because again there’s no connection to real people in their minds

They removed Quinton Flynn’s lines over allegations, but you’re absolutely right. It would sure be a shame if Blizzard was held to their own standards.
