What if they brought in a few old developers to finish what they never had time to build?
Considering we never got any of the cut vanilla content in classic, I doubt it

I quit when Cata was released. I suppose I’d freeze my toons in WotLK, or quit when Cata Classic releases.

imo they won’t go past WotLK because Cata is where they revamped the classic zones and that’s when sub numbers started to drastically fall

But it had pandas… Which are worse than blood elves.
But it also had amazing class design, a decent and rather dark story, and amazing dungeons and raids, and challenge modes!
I really need to go spend some serious time in MoP. Life got pretty busy around then and I didn’t do it justice.
I played from vanilla through wrath but i have to say TBC for me was the pinnacle. I played wrath but talent trees started to become too convoluted, didnt like the normal/heroic raid versions ( raids need 1 mode and thats hard so there is sense of acomplishment and not have 3 versions of same item) wrath lore was good but TBC for sure was TOP NOTCH it hit all the marks.

Even if they do Classic Cata, it seems unlikely they would put in the effort to restore cut content. They’re not doing it for any other Classic expansion.

I don’t see them ever really going beyond WOTLK. There’s a reason why Cata and beyond Pservers are dead.
Mop arguably the best one of the bunch but who wants to sit around a bunch of mish moshed asian stereotype lore again? So cringe.

No to mop, that’s the expansion that drive me to quit, I at least had fun in cata, mop though was 100% snooze fest. The lore was boring, the zones where boring, the dungeons where boring, and the raids forgettable
Why would you care? If you don’t like it just don’t play it, there will be separate servers for the other expansions. Don’t be a baby just because you don’t like something
