I do not need your permission to grab and run the flag as I see fit, nor am I required to turn it over you because you demanded it.
You want to FC, make the effort to get the flag before everyone else and assume the responsibility yourself.

Only time it annoys me is when it’s someone who is undergeared and then they get one shot.
But as a good brother/sister in arms, you keep it to yourself and take them under your umbrella.
There’s less and less PvPers like that as time goes by.
I usually try to stay stealthed next to them and hope I can grab it when they die. Can’t protect someone who has like 6 million health sadly. I don’t bother saying anything to them in chat. Figure if they wanted to pass it they would just drop it anyway.
That’s a good tactic and there’s nothing wrong that…
Wafectus FCing Etiquette Random WSG 101:
No1 is required to help you as an FC and you assumed those stakes the moment you decided to be an FC.
Terrible take. Some classes are good at picking the flag others are good at running it, others are good at holding it.
So you’re the authoritative one that spews toxicity all over WSGs.
What part of not needing your permission to run the flag as I see fit didn’t you understand?
Or are you going to wait half a day to respond like a coward?
Which one is dk good at i can’t seem to find it.
deathgrip.
Maybe before Grip DR was a thing.
Chains of Ice!
Just say you are inexperienced instead of writing out an asinine rant my guy.
None of the above. I said some classes are good at certain things. Not every class has a strength when it comes to holding the flag, some are more of a liability. So they should be looking to hand it off ASAP if they do need to pick situationally.
Am I the only one that thinks this is the most ridiculous statement? It’s a team game and you should be playing to win the game by supporting your FC. Also you should know when there is someone more suitable to run the flag other than yourself. It isn’t a “first dibs” situation. This is such a stubborn way to view the role of flag carrying and really outs you as a low-level BG player.
If a ret grabs the flag and refuses to pass it to a pres, that’s basically trolling. You’re free to play however you want, and your teammates are free to say what they want too, as long as it doesn’t break the TOS.
Did you come up with that bad assumption all by yourself?
I see the points I made simply go in one ear and out the other.
Taking my point out of context?
You’re that authoritative WoW nerd I despise so much. Players like you should be banned from the game.
Show me in the ToS where it says that a Ret is required to do anything you suggested. If anything, I can make the argument that you are being toxic with your bad point of view; and…
You’re the one breaking the ToS.
Your sentence fragment here contradicts the very first fragment, and you expect me to take you seriously?
Again with the ToS?
Ok then…
Show me in the ToS where it confirms anything you’re talking about?
It doesn’t…
It’s no different than an RDF dungeon initiating a vote-kick…
You simply enacted mob rule…
And you too deserve to be banned from the game.
These words come out of your mouth…
But the tone and context you present suggest the complete opposite…
I would never call someone like you a teammate and if I ever got you in one of my BG groups…
You may as well be Alliance because that is how I would treat you…
With disdain.
Pretty sure that’s only for blood.
“It’s literally not against the ToS for me to do” is not the defense you think it is.
I think it is the defense I think it is.
What rules exactly am I breaking, based on your cryptic reply?
flag capping cheeves aren’t just for certain classes.
get over yourself.
I never said you’re breaking a rule. I said that saying “it’s literally not against the rules for me to do” isn’t a good defense.
It’s not against the rules for you to join a battleground while wearing no gear either, but your teammates will absolutely judge you for it. Lots of things aren’t against the rules but are bad ideas anyway.
