Vulpera Discussion Megathread (Part 1)

I have a theory about mages that I think helps explain the whole mage food thing.

In game, mage spells always seem to conjure junk food. Empty calories in the form of raw carbs. I think that’s a subtle clue that while mages can fill your stomach for one meal, they can’t provide the nutritional support you require for a long term diet, which is why the game still needs farmers and hunters to support societies.

I started out as Alliance only because of the “friend” that got me into the game. At one point, after being camped by a Horde while an Ally was right there and did nothing to help, I noticed that they were actually being all “buddy buddy”. That’s when I started having contempt for the Alliance. I made a goblin rogue and loved the whole starting zone quest line. I felt liberated to be on the Horde side and Orgrimmar became my new home. Vengeance was tasting sweet as I ganked honorless scumbag after honorless scumbag. The Alliance is just fake altruism and overall pretentiousness. I will enjoy seeking retribution for the Vulpera!

I took a first pass at updating the front page. I’ll keep working on it but for now this seems a good start.

Very nice.

Makes sense. Mage food is pure energy. It gives you power to move your body, but not to build it. No proteins, no fat, no fibers, no vitamins, no minerals. And I bet that, if you don’t spend that energy, it’s not turned into fat either. It’s just lost (probably from sweating a lot, lol).

Here’s hoping

I’d be summoning egg rolls.

I actually played alliance to start because that was where my sister played. The ONLY race I’ve had an interest in on alliance, at all, was worgen. I love beast races, monster races, anything that brings forth my ideal ‘fantasy’ in a game, not…different shapes and sizes of humans.

I’ve grown to love my worgen, I’ve switched to horde again but I just…miss my worgen so I always went back. Vulpera, I would still play but there’s only one race that would take away from my worgen and those are the Sethrak. I wouldn’t MAIN a vulpera, but I’d still definitely make one because they look like a lot of fun  and are like…mini-worgen with tails! :stuck_out_tongue:

I know I’m still out there, but I’d still love to believe in the whole Vulpera/Sethrak pair…even if so little is shown in such a respect, I just want something to keep me going in this game that the only thing keeping me in it is my feeling of duty and responsibility towards my guild and raid team…

I hope we find out some positive news soon :<

I would like to see this race eventually, but… My heart is for the San’layn. If both would go horde. I’d def go for the vampires. But good luck!

Vorrik: “Thank you for your aid, champion”
Me: “No problem! See you tomorrow! (As soon as Nisha tells me to I’ma stab you in your stupid face.)”
Vorrik: “What was that last part?”
Me: “See you tomorrow!”

They are indeed all gone. Just deal with it.

They are gone. Allies killed them off in their war campaign.

If only there were some way to… I don’t know… bring people back from the dead.

But so far as I know such things are impossible, and Sylvanas would certainly never stand for it. Also Blizzard would never consider using such a plot device to cheapen the emotional impact of a character’s death

Point.

That does sound like something an Alliance would say :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
